The food was tasty and amazing. A few things though made our experience unpleasant and thus we will not come back.

1. It was a Wednesday and the waitress said they were out of potatoes to make their tallow french fries since the weekend. How was there not a restock since the weekend before?

2. Speaking of our waitress, she totally abandoned us. We ended up paying with cash and leaving because she did not come back. She was very inattentive.

3. They are supposedly a no cash restaurant but they took ours.

The food is great, but the service makes the experience at GOODONYA worth coming back again and again (and again). Make sure to try their coffees and desserts, too. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Sydney!

We were told our wait would be 35 minutes and after one hour of waiting and app stating that our table would be next, we gave up and tried to order takeout which wait for that was 45 minutes so we baled on that also. No apologies from hostess and several other parties also waiting for more than one hour. Would not recommend.

Ive been coming to good on ya for yearsssss! love it so much, there arent many fully organic / local spots in north county so its been a treasure. I took my mom here for our fav coconut matchas as a mothers day treat. we proceeded to wait 20 minutes, which is minorly annoying but fully understandable because it was super busy. we took one sip, they were lukewarm, not awesome. I opened the cover to take a sip of froth, froth fully absent and half the cup is air. When I asked them if they could resteam or remake they looked at me like i was insane lol but then obliged. I then went to the barista (glasses)
to let her know the issue, and she told
me “well these are half empty”. The issue with this, is they came that way lol. So she blamed me for something she did which was kind of odd? She then proceeded to make the wateriest latte ive ever had. Ive had such yummy drinks and food there and this was a really sad experience especially since the lattes are the price of a meal themselves! It wouldve been fine had she just remade them and not made me feel like i was in the wrong? when i was a barista, whenever someone asked me to remake their drinks or pull the espresso again, I did so with the utmost care because its really not that difficult. but she blamed me then handed me a watery latte with the resentment of a scorned woman. Hopefully someone can let her know thats not a great way to treat long time customers or any customer at that, like please relax no one is coming for you. i really hope this place doesnt start losing its quality and good vibes ..

GOODONYA is the one of the few restaurants that serve the highest quality of meat, vegetables and organic wines! All the GoodGood burgers are good, buy my favorite one is the elk burger. The customer service is excellent too and the vibe is always down to earth and welcoming. The wine club offers great wines and value and I recently hosted a private event there which was a success. Thank you, Kris, Bren and Kyle for making it perfect and the food was delicious as always!

finally a place i don’t need to ask about whether or not the eggs are conventional or clean, or whether the pancakes are rubbish white flour or something acceptable (i did ask the first time coming here).

I ordered a latte. The coffee tastes burnt, really gross I can’t finish it.

Stellar brunch spot with high quality food. A little pricey but delicious. Simple things like scrambled egg sandwich taste superior to alternative locations. All about the food and highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal cafe! I almost never give a place five stars if they don't have Wi-Fi in this place does not have any Wi-Fi but the food and drink offering are so unique and healthy that I broke my rule. The offer for bulletproof coffee versions! They offer an entire selection of hydration drinks a mushroom Root beer soda. They also have a unique selection of teas and kombucha. And I really appreciate that they offer an entire selection of zero proof drinks ! Breakfast is excellent with the majority of the dishes containing no gluten. This place has done everything right (with the exception of no wi-fi offered).

Please consider offering Wi-Fi and implementing some type of rule that's something must be ordered every hour. We never stay in a place without ordering for more than an hour because we realize you have to pay the rent.
