Huge let down in this place as we thought the reviews were mostly good. Both of our burgers were burnt, so they had to remake them. The fries were limp and extremely tasteless. I got an alcoholic drink and it was $20 for a glass of hardly any alcohol due to the glass being all the way full of ice. I definitely will not go back and DO NOT recommend this place at all

Very good smash type burger, meat is flavorful and cooked perfectly. Mama Hut is a delightful lady and so friendly. An excellent burger joint with cocktails and great selection of beers. What more can you ask for? In my top ten of hamburger places in San Diego

This is one of the best places I've seen at. The food is spectacular the customer service is on point. The dude who took my ordered remembered my order after only one time being there. He has a great personality and in today's day and age the simple things makes life a bit better for people I usually have at least one complaint but I have absolutely none this place is awesome
This was my first time here. After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. The staff was nice. The burger and fries were not worth the price. It’s a smash burger with the regular toppings. The flavor of the patty was good but for the price and the amount of food you get, you are better off going somewhere else. The fries were cold and hard. I was only able to have two or three. Even dipping them in ketchup didn’t help. I ended up throwing them away.I get that restaurants have good days and bad days, but if you can’t do a simple burger and fries when that is your claim to fame then something has fallen out as a business.You only get one first impression and unfortunately this one was a disappointment.Parking: There is a small parking lot. If it’s not busy you can find parking on the street/neighborhood surrounding the restaurant. There is also parking a cross the street in a dirt lot.

Went on a Saturday at noon. Became a mad house after we placed our order. Family and I have been wanting to try this place for years.Good:Nice fountain drink options (coke, dr. p, etc)Full bar if you care about that.Self-serve ketchup and mustard as well as hot peppersDecent sized patio with wheelchair accessibilityDecent amount of seating insideBad:VERY short staffed. Only one person working FOH who was honestly a little curtPatio tables were dirtyInside tables were stickyWas incredibly expensiveOur food:Took around 25-30 minutes to come outWe ordered:- 3 hut burgers (10 dollars each!!)- 3 fries- 3 fountain drinksOne of our burgers was not supposed to have cheese. It came out with cheese.Everything was lukewarm verging on cold.NO flavor. Fries were a little overdone. Meat was flavorless. Pickles were not sour?In total it cost us 63.36 to eat here and was 63.36 too expensive. Will not come here again.Parking: Around 10 parking spots. 1-2 handicapped.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair “elevator” down to the patio
