This is a one-man owner operator pizza shop which is rare these days. Everything's made up. Fresh ingredients are good. I would give it a try.

Wait why was this some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!! Saw they had good reviews so I tried the New Jersey style pizza (I had no idea what that meant but I was like why not just go for it). 10/10 would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back and try more pizza!

What a great pie, simple and just the right amount of tang and sweetness in the sauce. No flop, crust is crispy?? What else can you ask for?!

Whenever I visit, the owner greets me with a smile and always takes the time to chat with me. Not only is the atmosphere inviting, but the pizza is delicious- thin crust, fresh ingredients, authentic style.

Definitely NOT NY pizza, a sin to compare. Dough was dry, dense, tasteless. Dressing for Caesar salad is just as tasteless unfortunately, missing anchovies. Won't return.

Doordashed so can only comment on pizza quality that was excellent. Flippin is closer to us so more convenient but dang it hammers is better... better sauce, better ricotta.... Will order again!

Likes: The dough was consistent from crust to the tip of the slice, good texture. Toppings and sauce were good. Overall I like the pizza. Dislikes: The $30+ pizza is overpriced. People running the place, either put on a fake smile and make paying customers feel welcome or remove yourself from interacting with them.
Legit NY pizza come check them out owners from Brooklyn.

You go to a pizzeria for pizza. Notice they don't have pastas! That's because it's pizza NOT Italian restaurant!! ( I learned that from a proprietor of a pizza place ). This is the place for Pizza Encinitas!!!

The pizza is mediocre at best. Very very light on the cheese and a little too salty for my liking. Not worth what you receive.

Best NY style pizza in north County, second to Bronx in all of SD. Coming from an east coaster.

Best pizza in encinitas. This is a must try. Level is wave above dominos and pizza huts.
