Cali Cream Homemade Ice Cream

As someone who lives an hour away, I can confidently say that part of the joy of visiting Moonlight Beach is going to get ice cream with family and friends at Cali Cream. The staff is always friendly and patient when you want to try new flavors. I remember the first time I visited Cali Cream, I ordered a single scoop for ~$5 and let me tell you I was flabbergasted when they hand me my ice cream and the portion was MASSIVE! My go to is the gooey fudge brownie which, as a chocolate connoisseur, is the ultimate chocolate ice cream. My sibling is allergic to all nuts and usually has issues with cross contamination at ice cream shops, however Cali Cream does a great job of separating nut from non-nut ice creams and they always offer to use a fresh spoon for their scoop!

Wonderful ice cream. So creamy! We split a double of pistachio and butter pecan. Full of nuts. Service was super friendly too. Clean shop. Definitely recommend

The options for ice cream here is fantastic, they also have dairy free options that in my opinion, taste just as good as the normal dairy ice cream. The portions are extremely generous as well. The bakery attached has a fabtastic selection too, their carrot cake is some of the best I've ever had and my family always gets a slice to take home. The staff are always attentive and friendly. It's always clean too. They have nice seating outside as well, with heaters for the colder nights. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves ice cream and baked goods.

Hands down my fave ice cream place in SoCal. Unique, always new interesting flavors that are absolutely delicious. Kind and fast service. I’ve eaten a lot of ice cream in my time and this place has got it going on!

I took my family there last night, and the ice cream was hands down the best I've ever had. On top of that, an employee named Zach went above and beyond to make our experience special. Thank you, Zach! We've officially found our new favorite ice cream spot.

i came here with my boyfriend today and i am very satisfied with the service and ice cream. lots of choices to try. salted oreo was soooo good! i don’t know the name of the girl at the front, but she was very nice and helpful. thank you to her!! :)

Masterful ice cream served here. Honestly any flavor is great. High quality ingredients and great service. Long line out the door when we went, but it moves quick. Good price too

The variety of flavors is amazing and the flavors are very very well developed the combs, and the waffles tasted fresh. The servings are quite apple given the price. The milkshakes were delicious. If you can save some space in your stomach for baked goods, they are delicious and unique I like that the carrot cake had no nuts.

Parking upfront will be difficult at times, but I’m sure you can find some spots around the corner.

Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Lots of outdoor sitting, so I’m sure if it’s cold it might be cool or they didn’t have some outdoor heaters when we came in November 2024.
