Harumama Noodles + Buns + Beer (Encinitas)

Had a really great late lunch. Service was impressive, Vivi took great care of us. We ordered a variety of food and everything exceeded our expectations.
Started with Kaarage and pork belly bao, both were so good.
My wife got the drunken noodles and my daughter got the power protein poke, excellent choices. I got the pork ramen, it was so delicious but I couldn’t eat it all, so I had to choose my least favorite ingredient in the ramen and that was the Brussel sprouts. They were fine in this dish, but I’m not sure why they chose to add them? I don’t know what they brought to the party.
We finished it off with a couple character buns. The Pig and the Unicorn, both were delicious.
Bottom line is the food is exceptional but the service makes it a must go to. They also had a very good selection of beer for an Asian noodle house.

Parking: Never had problems parking in this strip mall, it’s not huge, but it’s never been busy.

Usually always order take out (and I mean like once a week or at least three times per month). The Flying Pig Ramen is always delicious and clearly I crave it weekly, highly recommend especially if you like the flavor of sesame oil and a creamy style ramen broth. I always add the crispy chicken for extra protein! But it already comes with plenty.

They’ve removed all their gluten free stuff from the menu. Total bummer because this place used to be great.

Went on a Sunday night around 7pm
Not too crowded. Choose the elevated chair section. Ramen broths superb. Recommend the chicken cutlet ramen, pot stickers and homemade bao.Vinnie server excellent, very knowledgeable and big sake collection. Tried the unfiltered strawberry sake. Chef's kiss.

I came here with a bunch of friends for the first time and it was a great time! The buns were super cute and tasty! I particularly liked the white chocolate/pistachio one. Rest of my friends got katsu, Ramen and udon, and poke and they were all so good.

We always have good service here. My daughter loves the character buns and I'm a big fan of the selection of ramen and entrees! Highly recommended. Compared to the La Jolla location, it's much less busy and parking is much easier.

We got the spicy edamame, sweet character buns, the shrimp bao, the chicken ramen and strawberry mochi. Every item was presented beautifully and tasted just as good as it looked! The staff were very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was clean. 5 out 5 for me. I definitely will be returning!

Food was good and really filling.. Not really fond of their broth for the Ramen, kinda milky for my taste...Bulgogi Fries is really good.

Not very authentic tonkotsu ramen. The broth was oddly creamy and it’s not the kind that comes from boiling the bones for hours. Feels like they added milk or cream or something. I got the haru ramen and it came with barely a few pieces of kale and bamboo. The chicken was a bit dry. Might try the other dishes at some point but this is not an authentic Japanese ramen spot.
