An absolute must-visit. They make everything from scratch, resulting in unbelievably delicious quality. I love the use of organic dairy and the great vegan/gluten-free options!

​The free mini chocolate chip cookie with every scoop is genius. I had the cayenne sea salt caramel and it was perfectly creamy. The staff was friendly. The best homemade ice cream and cookies in Encinitas!

My favorite ice cream in all of San Diego county. Located in the lumberyard in downtown Encinitas. They use organic clover milk and fresh ingredients. My lavender ice cream was the best I’ve had. Definitely on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. I will be back!!!

My daughters favorite cookie place! They have fresh cookie dough that you can bake at home. It’s delicious!

Obsessed with this ice cream and I’m sad I don’t live closer to have it more often! The malted cookie dough in a waffle cone is the combination of my dreams. Perfect texture and flavor. Might come back to Encinitas from Utah each summer just to have this seasonal flavor!

Great ice cream - I picked lemon berry shortbread and my husband picked peanut butter cup. Just wish their waffle cone was slightly thicker.

Love this place. Their chocolate vegan ice cream is amazing. Other ice creams are great too. A lot of people go here because frequently there's a line. But not too long of wait. They also let you taste the flavors and you get a free cookie with every ice cream. In addition they use quality ingredients

So my friend and I were walking down the street enjoying some scoops (chocolate chip and honey lavender respectively). This woman stops us and says “you look happy with that ice cream. Where’s it from?” And we were happy to tell them it was from JoJo’s!

The amount they gave for a sample was so small it was laughable and the amount they served was also very small. Ice cream was good but the value/service made it not worth it

Yes it's creamy but not very flavorful. I had the coconut chocolate chip and it was more salty than sweet. In addition I tasted no coconut. My wife's chocolate was ok but my sister in laws peanut butter and chocolate had little flavor as well. Prices are a little high but that is ok given the location. But if you're going to charge that much you should deliver thequality.

A very nice place, the service is polite and friendly. The girls make the ice cream right there on the spot, fresh every day. There are different flavors, and you can try them before buying. It’s a pity they don’t have options with sugar substitutes. And the portions are too small.
