I brought my parents here while they were visiting from out of state. They always talk about how much they miss Las Olas since moving away from California, so we had to stop by. The service was great, the food was delicious, and it brought back so many memories for our family after 20 or so years of coming here. I’m really glad they had such a nice time. Thank you for a great experience!

The food here was delicious! The atmosphere was great! Right on the coast with the sea breeze. Service was okay, but quick. The chillitos and seafood enchiladas tasted great!

Food has very little flavor. Much better Mexican options in the area.

Been coming here since I was five I come for the potato flautas. Always get the chips and salsa. You can judge a Mex place by its chips n salsa, which are perfect here. Nice view of San Elijo. Walk the loop after you're done and go to Annie's Canyon to work off the calories. This place, along with VGs up the street is a north county institution.

First red flag : The guacamole is terrible.
Not hand made but Costco style.
1 star is for the great location and huge parking .
It was my birthday, and we searched for a restaurant near the beach through the Google search box, which provided us with Las Olas Mexican restaurants. This was my first time eating, and I ordered number #11 Seafood Enchiladas, which tasted fantastic. The waiter, Senor Slater, was very friendly. I am for sure coming back. Big thank you for the food and service.

Las Olas has made some changes since I last went. It's more of a full service restaurant now rather than an order at the counter place. Salsa bar is gone and menu is reduced compared to what it used to be. Doesn't feel as chill as it used to. Food is still pretty good but the vibe felt different with all the changes

This was a very nice restaurant. Nice ambiance. Beautiful location. The food was good. It isn't authentic Mexican food. They didn't have a variety of salsas but the homemade tapatio was nice and spicy! I had a chille relleno with Carnitas. The green sauce had too much lime and not enough spice . The strawberry Margarita was great! My partner also really enjoyed his shrimp burrito. Lastly, the tap water had a horrible taste.

The food was amazing, the service outstanding and the location can't be beat. I was amazed at how quickly our food and drinks were served. A VERY efficient operation. ?
Parking: It's currently a dirt lot and a small paved lot but believe that is going to be improved soon.
