I can't say enough great things about Le Papagayo! Nestled in Encinitas, this spot is a dream come true for anyone who loves healthy, flavorful food. I adore that they avoid seed oils, and every dish feels so fresh and intentional. The atmosphere is super cozy, the staff is welcoming highly recommend it if you’re in the area! I also recommend making a reservation To avoid wait times.

Paola our server was the bomb. She should get a raise a fact she should be the manager. Hopefully the owner reads these reviews. We lived in Leucadia for 36 years but we could not take Newsom any longer so we moved to Arizona. Just came back for a visit. Jeff and Irene

Amazing as always! Even after 15 years, the property has expanded a bit, but the food is remarkable and something we enjoy EVERY visit to the west coast. Thank you guys for all that you do to get this place thriving!

Papagayo is always a good choice for food, drinks and live music. It gets noisy and a little hard to have conversations, but I still like it.

What a great menu! So many options! Really good food too! I definitely am gonna be going back! There’s so many other menu items that I really want to try! The artichoke was really good. The Wagyu meatballs were really really good! The Thai muscles were good a little bit on the sweet side. They weren’t as spicy as the server described them to me. But I can’t wait to go back.

This is a fun local spot that I always enjoy. Go for the atmosphere and drinks and you will have a blast.

s cozy, welcoming, and full of good energy, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we had was great, and the birthday treat was such a sweet surprise — thank you for that. And the bread pudding... wow. The perfect ending to a really special meal. Such a great experience all around. We'll definitely be back.

Loved our experience at Le Papagayo. Food and service was excellent and we enjoyed the live music too! Will definitely go back!

Food was good and not too expensive. Lots of choices. The Waitress was slow to follow up for our order. Noise was good until a large group was seated in the middle of the room and the live performer turned up the volume. Then it was too loud in the lower inside dining room. We would go back again.
