Great Matcha. Great People. Great atmosphere. As an Encinitas local, I wanted to hate on another coffee shop opening up, and taking the place of the iconic Rhino Art. But, Lofty has slowly become an institution. I have lots of meetings out on the patio and really enjoy their various drinks and munchies. Thanks for being a big part of my community!

Recommended by a friend. Fairly expensive cup of Joe, but also pretty darn good. Delicious pastries too. Line the entire time we were there, really nice shopping and dining area. Lots of outdoor tables. Clean. Courteous and attentive staff. Parking my be problem atavistic at times.
My friend brought me here because she loves their mochas. The chocolate is special and they make their own almond milk. It's her favorite coffee shop.

The food is delicious, the service is absolutely terrible!!! I ordered a breakfast sandwich to go on a Monday morning (late morning) and it took them almost 30 minutes to make it! There were other people there but for a Monday morning it was not crowded and definitely should NOT take that long to make a little breakfast sandwich! No explanation as to why it took that long and also no apology either! It was very good but certainly not worth waiting that long for something to go!Response to Eric: The ticket times must be incorrect then, because I stood there for almost 30 minutes for a to go order! Perhaps they forgot to put the order in and therefor isn't showing the correct time? Either way, terrible service and terrible response!

Turkey avocado on a croissant was one of the most delicious things I’ve tasted. Coming back for another one ASAP.They have free WiFi but it’s not super fast. Lots of outdoor places to work but not many outlets.

Food and coffee was okay, but I noticed a guy who I think is the owner (?) behind the bar, and he was giving the baristas such a hard time. It's like he thinks customers can't see him. I would give this place my service but honestly I feel bad coming to a place that does not treat their employees kindly.
