Great beach! It has a concession stand and good bathrooms and showers! We were there for the monthly concerts paid for by Encinitas! Here are some locals joining the band for a song “Happy Boy”.
Overall way expensive, but the food was really really good.
$15 was for most of the tacos(2)/sandwiches with maybe like 2 options around $11...
Body boards $15 for 2 hrs or $35 for day
Surfboards $25 / $55
Other concessions were fine and normal prices (drinks $4 and below) (snacks $5 and below)
Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not an Ada ramp from main parking. Go to bottom of hill for any other sort of parking as it's easier from street or parking spots at edge of road (rarely available)

It's beach food. But what a place together. It's clean and has a good selection of beach type favorites. Hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and sodas, smoothies and other goodies.

Perfect family beach with a playground and a snack shack. Kids love it!
My wife and I had the tacos at Moonlight Beach Concession Stand a few weeks ago and they were the best tacos we have ever had. We had them for lunch and went back and got them again for dinner. My wife said her coffee was also the best she has ever had. No exaggeration.

Loved it. Decided to walk to moonlight.And had lunch. The quesadillas where good. Taste like they where from a Mexican restaurant.

Glad that the shop is open. Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich (coal roasted carnitas) and found it to be delicious. The service was quick and the food handed to me with a smile. It’s great having breakfast on the beach.

If you’re going to charge me 6.50 for a small shaved ice, at least put more than a drop of flavor in it.

Exceptional people and wonderful food.The Best of Everything!
Absolutely delicious! The barbacoa and pork are cooked 24 hours and you can really tell. The tacos are so good. Justin was really nice.
The barbacoa breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious! If you get a chance to have breakfast on the beach I highly suggest stopping here!
