On Sunday morning my wife and I left Tempe, AZ at 4:00am and headed to San Diego for the weekend. Did we go to our hotel first? No! We drove straight to the Moonlight Beach Concession Stand for their chicken tacos. They're that good. The very first time we had them was at the Switchfoot BRO-AM event and we both said they were the best tacos we have ever had. We had them for lunch and went back and got them again for dinner. My wife said her coffee was also the best she has ever had. No exaggeration.

Glad that the shop is open. Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich (coal roasted carnitas) and found it to be delicious. The service was quick and the food handed to me with a smile. It’s great having breakfast on the beach.

Absolutely delicious! The barbacoa and pork are cooked 24 hours and you can really tell. The tacos are so good. Justin was really nice.
Water could get really close during high tide. Crowded at weekends but enjoyable overall. Beware of the sun, it’s strong! Make sure you spray sunscreen at least every two hours
