I just moved from PB to Encinitas, and have been checking out all the local spots. This was the best find! II keep coming back and I've ordered every sandwich on the menu over the last month, and they're all great. (My favorite is the Italian, but there are a lot of close seconds). The chips are homemade and always hot out of the fryer, too.
Pretty disappointed in my sandwich, the best seller, highly rated “Turketta.” Honestly it lacked a lot of flavor and didn’t move me in any way, shape, or form. I can’t say much about the sandwich or Moto, other than I probably won’t be back. The price of this sandwich is the second motivating factor that won’t bring me back. I feel ripped off. $18 for a regular sized sandwich. Why is this being normalized? Hurts even more when it’s poor quality.

Excellent food and a cool spot. Been working nearby and it's been a great place to get food. Loved the Cubano and turketta and Italian.
Only negative thing I can say is the chips have been inconsistent. Sometimes they were perfect. Sometimes they were under cooked or just didn't have a crunch at all. Everything else has been excellent.

Classic Funky Leucadian Spot. What sets it apart is convenient parking, unusually spacious eating area, interesting servicers and food that has been "stepped up a notch." It comes at a premium: a large sandwich, great curry laced potato salad, home made chips and a beer were $35. Worth it if it is in ur budget.

They should call their Bahn Mi something else since it’s on a fluffy french roll instead of crunchy & chewy baguette.
If you can appreciate a good Reuben or a bahn mi, this is the place to get it. Fantastic service and always great food and sandwiches.
