One of the best pizza places I've been to! I spent the weekend in Rosarito with family and on the way back I got hungry and stopped in Encinitas. The dispensary next door is the reason this establishment caught my eye in all honesty. Best decision I made was choosing this restaurant over the others that were crowded. We ordered the Mr. Moto and the California love pizza slices as well as the stuffed garlic knots. What made the pizza the best was honestly the service provided by the employee Leo. He went above and beyond to help us choose what we liked. He cooked everything and made sure it was fresh, and not overcooked. He also didn't disappoint in the choice of beer to go with my pizza!! On top of that he even checked up on us to see what we thought of everything. What else can you ask for?! BEST PIZZA AND BEER COMBO! CANT BEAT THE PRICE!!

Phenomenal first time experience. The impact of going above and beyond in customer service is always such a big factor in the experience. The way we were greeted when we walked in by Antonio and his passion behind the menu and setting up right for a small birthday party following escape room made it so much more than a normal pizza experience--could not have been happier. The Rocky Mountain is a must have with the hot honey.

Absolutely love this spot, the service is unmatched and the food quality is amazing as well. Leo is always smiling and gives the best service. I first tried this spot in PB and when I found out they opened one in Encinitas was beyond stoked. Proud regular who can't speak highly enough of this place. Need to try the stuffed garlic knots they are an amazing pizza alternative. 10/10

Ordered two pizza slices. They were very cheesy and flavorful. I especially liked the tomato sauce which really complemented the cheese. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. The service was friendly and fast! My favorite item is the stuffed knots but they forgot to include the marinara sauce with my order and I forgot to ask until it I realized it was missing. Can't wait to come back!

I'm always in search of really good pizza and rarely satisfied with what I find, but Mr Moto Pizza hit the spot and left me smiling. One of the few pizza places that's as happy to serve by the slice as sell you a whole pie. All of their pizzas have fun names, the staff is laid back and the service is spot on. They have a few tables inside and a few outside in the sidewalk. The pizza is fresh and full of flavor. Thin crust, easily foldable with a little crunch and full of flavorful cheese and toppings. Mr Moto Pizza is a great place to stop in for a quick slice or to grab a whole pie to bring to bring home on Pizza Night!

So, the food is actually pretty decent. The prices are actually pretty fair if you know how to order. Make a single order misstep, and suddenly, the exact same item can double or triple in price. This is a legitimate interaction I had: call me, tell me they can't fulfill my order, ask me to replace a part of my order AND come 20 additional min later. I show up, order isn't done and they say- no joke- do you want what we've made and to come back for what isn't ready in 10 more min? 20 min later, the missing item still hasn't arrived. An apology hasnt been offered once. This shows a level of disdain for your customers that is embarrassing. You aren't Michelin starred.... the insanity of this behavior.

Yummy. We all pick our own slices. Everyone is helpful and nice. Feels like a local pizza kitchen in a NY Sitcom. Has good salad, pasta, and beer too.Features: Everyone wore masks and gloves - Hair was neat/hairnet- Encouraged customers to wear masks too - Restaurant & Bathroom very clean

So I was walking down Encinitas Blvd just going for a visit, when I came across a pizza shop that was looking quite exquisite. It was a school day, and I knew what was in there, the perfect thing I needed to start off the school year. Two slices of pizza and a garlic knot for $11.99, after I tried it I knew I could see myself here all of the time. So please listen to the message that I say -- if you're hungry then you need to come here with your friends like every day.

Stopped in for a quick bite while walking around and usually the place is swarming, but I found a nice window seat. The staff was friendly and inviting and were really easy to talk to. The pizza was good with a crunchy bottom and large slice portions. They had a good deal too for two slices and a beer with a decent beer selection.

This is absolutely delicious pizza, some of the best I've ever had. That being said, the availability of it is a little iffy because they seem to make a full pizza and cut slices from that to reheat for a few hours. If you happen to go when your favorite pizza is already gone, you're kind of out of luck. Also, as delicious as most of their pizzas are, it's a little disconcerting to watch them cut your chosen slice from their display case and reheat it. It's hard to tell how long these pizzas have been in the case for the day, so I sometimes wonder as they reheat it in their oven.Ideally, I really should start asking when the pizza was made that day before I order it.Service wise: it's pretty decent, but it can take a little while to get your food because they only seem to prepare one person's food at a time (at least in regards to reheating pizza). If you come in a group, be prepared to get your pizza in intervals. Oh and as far as I can tell, and I might be wrong about this, they don't seem to sell full pizzas, just by the slice. But like I said, I'm probably wrong about that.Onto the atmosphere. The place itself is rather small, there are some wheelchair accessible booths, but the accessible parts do block the main walk way a bit.Outside there are some tables with umbrellas that are pretty nice, however last time I went, some of the wicker chairs were kind of busted and I had to pull from other tables for a party of four.

On weekends my wife and I love to travel down to the San Diego area and Encinitas has become one of our favorites. The streets are lined with quality cafes, coffee shops and eateries and Mr Moto is a definite favorite of mine. As soon as I stepped through the door and saw the various pies staring back at me, I knew I was in the right place. Everything from the fresh ingredients to the sheer variety of the menu is a win. They have so many options to choose from but for me the Red Mess, The Pepperoni and the California Love were all winners. Whether you want a whole pie or just pizza by the slice this is the place to be in the area. All of the slices were piping hot and cooked to perfection and the garlic knots were also amazingly good and flavorful. The place is relatively small so seating may be challenging during peak hours but I was grabbing a few slices to go so it was not an issue for me. The pricing is pretty good at around $14 for 3 large slices and a soda (flavors can be mixed) and the service was great as well. I definitely look forward to a return visit the next time I am down in the area. If you love pizza, I highly recommend coming in and checking our their offerings.
