Ordered breakfast for the 3 of us and it took an hour to get our food. There was a table that sat next to us half hour after us and they got there food first. Another one game in by him self and ordered at got his food before us. They need to make the food in order and time of the customers that come in. Server didn’t even check on us while we where waiting for our food to give us any updates about it

A Warm Day’s Dilemma in Encinitas – Saved by Heidi, the Prime Dip, and a Cold Rolling Rock!

There I was, driving around Encinitas on a warm day, the kind of day where the sun’s heat starts to mess with your decision-making abilities—especially when it comes to food. Just as I was about to give up and join a black market Ozxempic pyramid scheme, a thought struck me—Mr. Peabody’s Happy Hour!

Walking in, I was greeted by Heidi behind the bar—my soon-to-be food savior. I told her about my epic struggle for food, and she just smiled and said "I'll shall be the Sherpa for your Sandwich journey.

After a few questions she made her assessment and promptly recommended the Prime Dip Sandwich. Thinly sliced Angus prime rib, pepper jack, Ortega chile, all tucked into artisan French bread with a side of au jus!

But Heidi didn’t stop there. Seeing as it was a warm day, she suggested a Rolling Rock—available anytime for just $3.25.

She mentioned it's borderline compulsory as part of her proprietary “Meat Sweat Prevention Program.” I commend this stance as the current and popular trends are majoritively Pro-Meat Sweats for Brat Summer. #bratsummer

The food is decent, price has skyrocketed. Almost $20 for a burger and fries in a very casual environment is sad. They are understaffed with only one waitress and lunch took quite a while for drinks, the food, the bill, etc. for the price will go to a sit down restaurant with better service. This used to be a great bar with good food for a great price. No longer.

I was @ Mr.peabodys on a ? Tuesday recently like to sing ?. Outside of the building temperature was 85 degrees inside ? is 82 degrees ? yes you can get heat exhausted ? I don't believe the A/ C was on.i mention to.waittress who said she has no control over the temperature has to ask her boss.so Mr.boss please pit A/C in your establishment as not just me but your workers patrons can will get heat exhausted then you will have a BIG PROBLEM

Mr. Peabody Bar and Grill Review

Nestled at 136 Encinitas Blvd, just a stone’s throw from the Pacific Ocean, Mr. Peabody Bar and Grill offers a fantastic dining experience with an unbeatable location. Our evening began at “The Regal Seagull,” where a kind woman named Shelly recommended Mr. Peabody’s just before closing time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly bartender who told us to sit wherever we liked and assured us that a waitress or waiter would assist us shortly.

We visited on a Wednesday night and were thrilled to discover their wonderful happy hour deals on both food and beverages. Our party ordered a variety of dishes, starting with appetizers like potato croquettes, and followed by main courses including wings, baby back ribs, shrimp cocktail, a chicken sandwich, and onion soup. Every dish was flavorful and exceeded our expectations. The happy hour pricing provided incredible value for the quality and quantity of food we enjoyed.

A special shout-out to our excellent waitresses, Kaylyn and Alyssa. They were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, there was a classic rock cover band playing some timeless hits that did not disappoint. The live music was a perfect backdrop to our enjoyable evening.

Mr. Peabody Bar and Grill is a gem in Encinitas, ideal for a casual night out with friends or a cozy dinner by the ocean. With excellent service, delicious food, and unbeatable happy hour deals, it’s a must-visit spot. Highly recommended!

Arrived at 5;30 for Happy Hour. My friend and I came for drinks and food. We sat outside and a waiter kept walking by our table and never acknowledged us. It was busy but we sat until 6:10. Then the waiter stopped at our table..gave us menus and asked us if we wanted drinks. Of course we said yes and wanted drinks and food at Happy Hour specials. He said no..because Happy Hour was over!! I asked for a Mgr. And he said Manager was busy. So...we ordered at regular prices spending $50
No discount was offered. I have never experienced such poor customer service...as even waiting over half hour..we were never given any price adjustment nor being able to speak to a Mgr. I advise anyone going there for Happy Hour...be sure your order is taken by 6 pm... not a minute later.

We are new to the area and stumbled upon this establishment.. Shaun the bartender is amazing and the reason we go frequently. Shaun makes us feel so welcomed and comfortable. He Honestly has the best customer service. He is such a great guy. He treats everyone with kindness and respect. Whether it’s your first time or a regular. The food, music and drinks are great.We are so happy we found our neighborhood bar.

Bartender and server both very nice and Sean's funny and having a blast while serving us.
Prime rib was yum and the baked loaded potato was massive. Fun vibes good peeps
