Extremely disappointed to drive all the way to Encinitas to eat here only find out it’s closed. As you can see from the picture Google shows them as being open today until 8:00 p.m. The area around it looks nice and was hoping to enjoy the outdoor seating. Not good business to not update your hours.

Peace Pies is hands down the best place for raw food. I had the Mushroom Carnitas Burrito and Bruschetta as an appetizer — both were fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. We sat outside and the weather was perfect, which made the experience even better. A must-visit if you’re into raw, plant-based meals!

Definitely one of the better vegan restaurants I've been to. (I'm not vegan.) Their dishes are named after common non-vegan dishes but they don't try to make it taste the same. They make it their own. Vegan take. None of that fake cheese nonsense =)
Really liked their mushroom stroganoff. Like I mentioned earlier, they don't try to imitate the non-vegan dish so don't expect stroganoff. It was cold, kelp noodles, with mushrooms and avocado. Pretty darn good. The mushroom quesadilla is supposedly really popular. It was good but a little sweet. That one was packed full of mushrooms.
The snacks are also really good. Especially the kale chips and cheeze its.

During my recent trip to Encinitas, I discovered Peace Pies, a charming raw vegan restaurant tucked into the laid-back beachside community. While I’m vegan, I hadn’t specifically planned on visiting a raw food spot—but I’m glad I did. Peace Pies completely surprised me in the best way.
I ordered the Majestic Mediterranean Wrap, and from presentation to portion, it impressed. The food looked fresh and vibrant, the wrap was large and satisfying, and every bite was packed with flavor. The fact that everything on the menu is raw, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and peanut-free shows how intentional and inclusive their offerings are—and yet the food never felt like it was missing anything.
Service was just as enjoyable. The person working there was friendly and welcoming, and our order came out quickly. We chose to sit on the patio, which turned out to be a highlight in itself—lush with passion fruit vines and a peaceful, garden-like atmosphere that made the meal even more memorable.
Prices were reasonable considering the quality, creativity, and service. There’s a lot more on the menu I’d love to try, and I’d absolutely return next time I’m in town.
