Really bad service! The cashier couldn't even take our order correctly even though we explained it more than a few times. After all this, they still got it wrong. We asked for 5 roll tacos only beans and cheese and it was really difficult for them to understand our order. Not to mention that they charged us extra for beans, which is not a problem, we understand they have to charge but when we got our order the roll tacos only had beans on half of each roll taco. We forgot to take a picture but it was just frustrating how they could get such an easy order wrong. Strongly don't recommend this place!!!

We have been coming here for years. Great take out San Diego Mexican food. Carne asada fries and refried beans are top choices.

Not only were my carne asada fries delicious, but the service was excellent as well. I definitely recommend Robertos Mexican Food!!!!
I came in around 11am today and ordered 2 carne asada burritos. Got home and discovered I was given 2 greasy carnitas burritos that were barely edible. Not the way to get repeat business.

I ordered california burrito and made it a combo plate with rice, beans and chips. I was so hungry and couldn't wait to eat my burrito. Unfortunately, I'm sad to report that the French fries was stale, crunchy and old as if the cooks recooked old fries?! Yuck. Anyhow, I reported it to the worker- she asked me if they can make me a new one. I said no cause I was in a rush to go back to work and couldn't wait. She said ok. I thought she was going back to the kitchen to share the feedback. Instead, she started cleaning the counter where the salsas was so I asked her "excuse me, is that your manager (me pointing to the gentleman at the cash register) she responded "yes" me "will you be letting him know about my feedback" she quickly started walking towards the kitchen "oh yes". I approached the counter with my burrito and told the manager "would you like my burrito to check?" He takes the burrito and chucks it in the trash and says "would you like to be reimbursed?" At that point I was surprised he even ask but I told him no and he said "ok thank you". I walked out thinking "oh great now I only have chips beans and rice to eat" lol anyhow, I'll try this place again.

Came for their quesadillas and it was delicious!! Unfortunately their special drinks are not refillable for free compared to other Mexican restaurants.
