Wanting to forego cake at our wedding, we opted to work with The Baked Bear to serve ice cream cookie sandwiches instead, as The Baked Bear is husband's favorite! We are so glad we did! Our guests raved about the cookies and ice cream (with one guest reporting he ate FOUR whole sandwiches-- that's how good they are). Outside of our wedding, we love visiting The Baked Bear for special treats and when guests visit town. Get that Nutella cookie. It is fantastic. We shared a cookie of the month (it was minty, so good!) + Nutella cookie sandwich with dark chocolate ice cream and it was delicious and huge!

I visited this place while I had family visiting and was pleased with how simple and how many different options there are! It gives a lot of customization to your dessert experience with unique flavors that are not overbearing. I have a simpler palate so I went with two similar cookies and vanilla ice cream to make my own ice cream sandwich. It is a smaller location so there is not a lot of seating to relax and enjoy, but with this being in downtown Encinitas you can easily walk to your next destination and enjoy your dessert! The staff were very helpful in explaining how this works and makes it an enjoyable experience for a first date, family functions, and even on your own.

Placed an online order for a family member. Called many times throughout the day with a question about the order and they never answered the phone. They then canceled the order half an hour before it was supposed to be delivered.

Delicious cookies with high quality ice cream! I loved that you could get 2 different cookies to make the sandwich. We really enjoyed the iced oatmeal and the chewy butter cake cookies were a huge hit!

Love the concept and initially happy with the product. Unfortunately pulling out a mouthful of hair from the girl who made it, ruined it completely.Might be a good idea for staff to be wearing hair-nets or at least have it tied back.*vom*

$9 is a little pricey for an ice cream sandwich however it's very large and they will cut it in half for you.Tried one cookie and one brownie. Don't forget to ask for it warmed up! Much easier to eat. Taste was good. Pretty sweet but still yummy.They have a small water station near the register. They have outside seating on the sidewalk. Parking: street only, some lots in the area but overall really, really tough to find parking. I would not go here specifically, only if I was I already in the area.Staff was friendly and helpful.
