What a disappointment!! The omelette was a cold egg taco, unmelted cheese and blobs of toppings shoved in a cooked cold egg flop sitting in a pool of oil.
Our server was a delight, but the food was abysmal.
La Jolla location was a far better experience.

Love the cottage! It's our Sunday after church lunch spot. Friendly and genuine caring service. When they see us pull with our 94 year old friend someone always comes out to help her and escort her inside. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Brought a family for brunch after church and it was fantastic. Even my one year-old and five-year-old grandchildren ate their entire meal and loved the housemaid scones with homemade jelly.

Being in the restaurant business with my family for decades, I was so impressed that I am willing to drive an hour and a half to come back here regularly

I recently visited this restaurant, and it had a cozy and welcoming vibe. The food was surprisingly delicious, and the coffee had a rich, well-balanced flavor. I had the Morning Glory Sandwichand (overhard egg) with a Mexican Mocha. The small downside was a young female server who appeared a bit unexperianced; but overall, it was still a really pleasant visit.

Great breakfast/lunch cafe located in Encinitas, off of El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd. Easy to get to with plenty of parking, this location of The Cottage provides indoor and outdoor patio seating. There's a great selection of coffee, food and drinks! I had the Lavender Mocha today and it was delicious. If you want champagne or another alcoholic drink, the are nice looking options. The breakfast options are delicious, and I highly recommend the King Kong muffin, although it is hefty, so maybe share that with others! The prices are not cheap, but the quality is worth the cost (meals are about $20).

I recently tried the Chilaquiles, and I have to say, they are some of the most delicious I've ever had in San Diego. The beans accompanying the dish were equally impressive, especially since they're served on the side, allowing you to enjoy them at your own pace. Every bite was a delight, and the fresh orange juice truly topped off the experience. It’s a meal I’ll definitely crave again!

The staff was absolutely rude. Ignored my friend and I when we entered. Our waitress was very unprofessional, would take a long time to take out order, get us drinks, and give us our bill. She was on her phone or walking around doing nothing. The food was ok, the potatoes were not fully cooked and cold. Not worth the money or coming back. If you have another option go elsewhere.

I order food for to go and they don't give me
cutlery for eating plus The container has a couple holes and then never tell me to be careful when to put the honey. Dry in my clothing That's the reason I give you poor review. You need to put a little more attention and be more specific with your customer what you delivering
