The Cottage in Encinitas is a delightful spot with outdoor dining, good food & prompt efficient service. I enjoy the Killer Muffins & the friendly smiles on the staff faces.
The food was tasty (the Okinawan Hash and American Dream mocktail were both great) but what was really memorable was the service. Our server even took the time to recommend and help us locate a discount to use for our meal, via the InKind app, which was just really sweet. Thank you!

Previously: Newly opened! A San Diego icon adds a location in North County. Now you can enjoy a local breakfast spot without the slog and tourists (well, at least fewer). New location is also a big step up from the eatery that occupied the space previously. One oddity though. If you went through the effort of designing a bright and airy space with new fixtures...
