After I ordered I tried to sit down. All of the tables were dirty. I tried to clean one and noticed the table was not cleaned for a while. The were cakes with crust and grease. When I used a napkin to try to clean it, the napkin showed a lot of dirt! Thank God they give you a tray to eat on. That looked clean enough. As far as the food goes, it was pretty good for habit Burger. The hamburger was made the way I asked it to be made, the french fries were perfectly cooked and I also ordered the housemaid ranch and that was pretty good. But a weird thing about the atmosphere is that there's Mexican music playing from the kitchen, and overhead musical speaker playing a different type of music. So that was weird and sounded bad. Then the worker would walk around trying to sing the Mexican music. And no she cannot saying at all. So all three of those together was very annoying.

Decided to go the habit encinitas location instead of the la costa one and ive learnt my lesson and i WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN! first me and my friend walk in and want to order in person at the counter, we greet the general manager MARIA (who by the way has a hair net on yet its only covering half her head and not her bangs. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSANITARY) and she says “just one moment” so we wait…. and wait… it takes around 10 minutes for her to turn back around and just tell to use the self service kisok… some customer service that is. we order and wait for our food and when it arrives the order is completely wrong! my friends charburger is completely empty just meat and bun when she ordered everything. then the lovely maria decides to grace us with her presence again and gets extremely snarky insisting she couldnt be wrong! (she was we checked the receipt) she then begrudgingly fixes our order and now were here writing this shitty review for this shitty restaurant. learn from my misery and save yourself the trouble. JUST GO TO THE LA COSTA LOCATION.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved my experience at The Habit Burger Grill! 🍔🔥
From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly and fast 🙌. The Charburger was perfectly grilled juicy, flavorful, and with that signature smoky char you can only get at The Habit 🍖🍞. The toppings were super fresh 🥬🍅🧅 and the toasted bun brought it all together just right.
I also tried the sweet potato fries crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not greasy at all 🍠🍟. And don’t even get me started on the tempura green beans… next-level delicious! 🫛😋
Clean space, fair prices, and consistent quality. You can tell they care about doing burgers right. Can’t wait to come back again. 🔁💯

I've waited at the curbside for eight minutes. When I figured out that no one would come, I came in, they were serving everyone except me. When I asked for my food, they simply passed me cold burgers without an apology or anything! Loyalty lost!

So one of the staff (tall white guy with the glasses) was super rude there today (May 10th around 2 pm). We waited for 30 min, and our sandwich wasn’t ready. We went to the front desk with the buzzer and asked them about it. The guy took the buzzer from me, and told me if the food is not ready for this long, we dont know where is your food. I was confused, and asked him then why are you taking my buzzer, and when the food will be ready. The guy again said I dont know where is your food. Later another staff from kitchen found the food and brought it. This Habit location is one of my favorite one, going there for the past 7 years, not expecting this behavior from staff.

We tried Habit for our hamburger french fry Friday. Good burgers. We were deciding between In & Out or Habit. Habit won because of the French fries.
There is both inside and outside dining. Walk up to the tablets to place your order and grab a seat while you wait for them to call your name to pick up your food.
By the drinks is a little pepper area. Warning! The peppers have a kick!

Waited at the front for 15 with no other customers in the store. There was multiple people at the same station not working but not available to take an order either. Doesn’t make any sense to only grill 2 burgers at a time on a giant grill. Ridiculous.
