Union Kitchen and Tap

Stopped for lunch on 12/26, place was busy although tables were available. Got shut down for our requested table by host person because that waiter had too many tables (however, the next couple got that table immediately.) It seemed the place was seriously under staffed, both on the floor and in the kitchen. Wait person was friendly but service was very slow and the food was average at best. My crab cakes came out luke warm, we had to fetch our own silverware and ask for water refills which never came. Saw the floor manager, who seemed very friendly, make many apologies and offer many comps due to slow service and incorrect orders. Over $100 (with tip) for lunch for two. Not worth it!!!!

We were here for a company Christmas party with a large group. Even though we had a large group the staff were kind, attentive and professional. Would recommend them for group parties for sure!

Poor service, poor quality drinks. Our waiter said “making it complicated” after I ordered 2 drinks from the menu with no changes, and 2 shots for a group of friends. The drinks also were not good, minimal effort for a holiday drink. Atmosphere was super cool with Christmas decorations but that was the only good part.

I really love the atmosphere and the location of Union tap. I like that they have entertainment in there with artist performing. My review might be a little biased because I am celiac and also avoid dairy - so although they do try to accommodate me, it doesn’t seem that everyone is always very trained up on it and the ingredients of the menu. It has happened twice now where I have ordered food and promised it wasn’t cross contaminated with dairy and come to find out later it was cooked with butter. So that parts frustrating. I think they have been doing a better job lately, but I also know better now as well! Their food is quite tasty and I highly recommend this restaurant. Just be careful if you have allergies and ask a lot of questions.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Whoever crafted their sauces clearly has a masterful touch. The cauliflower purée paired with the salmon was exquisite, and the Cajun shrimp sauce elevated the dish to another level.

My friend was visiting from Northern California and she loves this place - this was my first time here and the service was great! Great food too - also shoutout to the server who gave me a giant thing of ranch with my to-go box, you’re amazing!

It’s a cool place, pretty friendly staff. The meatballs dish looks great… it’s not.
The meatballs themselves are okay, not great. The tomato/ marinara sauce had little to nothing going for it. The meatballs were not hot on arrival and the cast iron dish isn’t hot.
The garlic bread looks beautiful too but no salt.

This place is being a pansy about seasoning their food.
