Loved the food here! I normally don't like Indian food (mainly curry) but these dishes made me change my mind. The rice and chicken combo were delicious especially when mixing them together. The garlic naan bread was also made fresh and came with 4 large pieces. These dishes are definitely shareable. The service was great. The server was not that talkative but came to check on us a few times. It's also decorated nicely and gave me an Indian vibe. Will be back!

Great and solid choice for an Indian restaurant, the eggplant bharta was great, and the vegetable Samosa was crispy and yummy. Pretty sure I ordered a vegetable masala or was it the korma, it was good but it felt like it lacked some flavor to it, the waiters were all nice and gave good service. Lots of seating inside and nice booths to sit at.

Ordered several dishes for takeout and they were all pretty bad. The lamb was tough, the potatoes were hard, and the chicken wasn't what I ordered (wanted Tikka masala but got tandoori). Plus I've never had Indian food this bland and lacking in flavor.

Thank you thank you for having wonderful Indian food. We moved here almost 5 years ago and until now the Indian food we have tried has been yucky. This was GREAT especially the GHOBI ! yum yum but really everything we order was delicious, the only thing I will tell you is the hot sauce is really hot. I ordered every hot but I added their hot sauce, and it was really hot then, next time I will not use the hot sauce, their hot level is great as is.

We ordered takeout for the first time from here. The dishes were unremarkable..the appetizers platter was cold and soggy..def not made fresh...the tikka sampler was also mediocre and a little dry. Good things were the gentleman who took our order was very kind and the pickup was quick. Maybe things just are better when ordered in?

Good food, not too spicy. Like their dal tadka, veg biryani and other vegetarian choices. Excellent service, I have seen them fully accommodated and still handled well.

I am compelled to write due to my experience last nite and finding other reviews with similar experience. First, the good. Atmosphere, perfect. Number of service personnel, excellent...many. Quality of food, unexceptional but good. If the service was not outrageously bad, the food actually might be better. I cannot tell if they were malicious, apathetic, inept, or what. So, if inept, perhaps work towards fixing the issue. If apathetic, perhaps check your values. If malicious, well, then this review is too kind. In short, they were aggressive, rushed us, never smiled, mumbled everything, threw everything on table, had no bearing on who ordered what, and seemed to be attacking us. We wondered if there was any antisemitism but in the reviews I read, it seems that it is more universal. I will never return.

Super underrated, hidden Indian place in Encino. Some of the most tasty dishes I ever had. Their food can be slightly spicy above average, so if you do not like spicy, please emphasize that during your order. Also the cheese naan is definitely the best!!

food was fine i guess but i did not get to finish eating because of their extremely rude service. We were one of their last sit down customers although we were there an hour before closing time and from the start they took their sweet time to take our order and refused to do anything right. The dinner plates come with soup/salad and rice in addition to the meat and they tried to not bring the rice and never asked or thought about the soup/salad . I have never felt so unwanted in a restaurant and to top it off I used to be a regular and I am familiar with some of the staff there. Even when we ask for togo boxes for two people they only bring one and when I ask for a second one they bring it item by item. I understand if you are a trying to close and force us out but even getting out of there was like pulling teeth. Never again will I go this location I have never felt so unwanted.
