The experience felt rushed. We were still eating when asked about ice cream flavors, thinking the server was just asking for later but she just brought it out right away. We still had plenty of food left and now the ice cream is sitting and melting. Our chef did the usual things while cooking, nothing more and didn't look too thrilled to be there. It's hard to imagine that someone has never eaten at Benihana, but just in case, I will tell you why you should. It's a show, a dinner and a cooks table all in one. The seafood is very fresh and you can give your cook directions right to his face and see if you are getting what you want. The restaurant is very old. Teppan counter tables and ventilation system have not been updated. Oil from the ventilation hood was falling onto the teppan grill, which was disgusting. They need to clean the hood more thoroughly. Food was good.
