Had a reservation for a Saturday night and waited 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation. Went to this restaurant specifically for their oysters, so it was a bummer that they were out that night. Then the server forgot to put in our appetizer, so it never came. This restaurant is really known for its steaks. We have been here twice before and did not have steaks. We felt the food was just ok. We decided to try it one more time. I've been going to Davenport's 4 or 5 times a year for several years and the food and the service have always been excellent. Unfortunately, this past Saturday (11/8) was not my usual experience. I was having dinner with 5 girlfriends and we were seated at a table where the chairs at the ends of the table were constantly being bumped into by the waitstaff as they squeezed between our chairs and those of the chairs behind us.
