One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to in LA.

My friends recommended it and I will, too.

The saffron chicken is so savory! The vegetables are very fresh.

The service is gracious and the restaurant is quiet enough for conversation.

Parking is easy, too! highly recommended.

First time coming, with my wife on a Friday night. 8.10pm
Seated on the cozy patio.
We were brought a flat bread with chimichurri...
Ordered a burrata pizza w. Arugula and tomato, and a pear & gorgonzola salad to share.
Great portion sizes, delicious fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation.
Sonia was our most attentive server.
Great option on Ventura Blvd in Encino.
Detail. Large tables in the patio (6 seats).. bring your family too!!

Not bad. Bit expensive but not bad

Great food, service partially great. One of the female servers that serviced us was so wonderful and kind. On her part she gave great service. But then either a male server or the owner harassed her for giving us amazing service. He made her cry so she left. After, he served us. That male server or owner is racist from what is noticeable.

Gluten-free pizza for those of us who need it. Always delicious!

Dietary restrictions: I need gluten free food and it’s always available and delicious !

Green Cottage Restaurant in Encino offers really good Mediterranean cuisine. My dinner companion had the salmon salad and I had a more traditional lamb dish. The flavors were complex and combined beautifully.

Disappointed with the food, Service was maybe average, Coffee was undrinkable (returned it with no check credit provided), Meal was quite expensive given the total mediocre dining experience. Maybe we hit them on a bad day…And to add insult to injury they added an 18% tip for our party of 3 people without telling us.

Worst service and Persian food in Los Angeles.

Hidden in the corner of strip mall, it is the best kept secret in Encino. The food is fresh and delicious with huge portions. A large selection of Mediterranean food (kebabs, Baba ganoush, hummas, great salads, plenty of fish and shrimp dishes, etc) and fresh-made homemade pizza. Very attentive service! We love it!

Dietary restrictions: My wife is gluten free. Besides that most things on the menu can be prepared gluten free, they have a gluten free pizza crust (which they also prepare as a GF "bread" for dipping into the hummus, baba ganoush, etc)

Parking: Located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking

Kid-friendliness: Family friendly

BEWARE!!! this place lies and deceives people - on multiple fronts - even down to the manager/owner himself! worst of all, i clarified pre order that the beef koobideh (luleh) is all beef (i do NOT eat lamb, i can’t), to which the owner said it was mostly beef and some lamb… yet it is advertised as all ā€œUSDA Prime, Charbroiled Seasoned Prime Ground Sirloin.ā€ that’s a quote directly from their own menu. it upsets me especially because my family has been going to this restaurant for years, even back when the tarzana location was open. i have ordered this on multiple occasions and been lied to every time i verify. upon telling this to the owner of encino, he rudely says that is impossible and they would never say that it was 100% beef, that all beef luleh has never been an option, and it has always had lamb in it. they also add a service charge (18% tip) and still attempt to guilt you into tipping more, even though they often have poor service. i am pretty sure i have even told the restaurant in the past that i am allergic to lamb… i no longer trust this restaurant due to its repeated lies (all beef, gluten free guarantee, unnecessary fees, etc) and no shame regarding being exposed for such on multiple occasions by different people, instead the boss is very arrogant and refuses to admit to being wrong in any situation that has arisen. i feel disrespected and manipulated by a restaurant i used to be loyal to (past tense now).

Dietary restrictions: they do not respect dietary restrictions, do not rely on such! they lie, despite how this can have many negative consequences on customers who truly have restrictions on what they can eat.
