This place is a hidden gem has great food, atmosphere is great, the owner was very nice guy.
Food was top quality, cooked to perfection, salad was great quality and taste, rice was cooked very nicely. Quality wise this was by far the best Persian restaurant I have been to thus far.
Atmosphere outside was really nice, they even welcomed our friends dog.

The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and clean. The food was excellent. However, the service was not as expected, the server was multitasking; she served the tables and cleaned. She handled the broom and dustpan, then brought our food to the table without washing her hands. The worst part was when we were ready to pay, tip is something that you wheeling give for exceptional service and it's optional. Not here, 18% tip was included on the bill. In addition, they had the audacity to note that additional tip would be appreciated. Tipping has gone from an option to an obligation. Tipping has gone out of control. I would never go back to the Green Cottage.

This place is a hidden gem! Spotlessly clean with a stunning, island getaway atmosphere. The service was impeccable, everyone went above and beyond. And the food? Seriously the best we had in LA County. Very well balanced and not over or underseasoned, even the carrots were mind blowing lol it was an unbelievably good value for the quality. You absolutely won't be disappointed.

First time coming, with my wife on a Friday night. 8.10pm Seated on the cozy patio. We were brought a flat bread with chimichurri... Ordered a burrata pizza w. Arugula and tomato, and a pear & gorgonzola salad to share. Great portion sizes, delicious fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Sonia was our most attentive server. Great option on Ventura Blvd in Encino. Detail. Large tables in the patio (6 seats).. bring your family too!!

Great food, service partially great. One of the female servers that serviced us was so wonderful and kind. On her part she gave great service. But then either a male server or the owner harassed her for giving us amazing service. He made her cry so she left. After, he served us. That male server or owner is racist from what is noticeable.

Green Cottage Restaurant in Encino offers really good Mediterranean cuisine. My dinner companion had the salmon salad and I had a more traditional lamb dish. The flavors were complex and combined beautifully.

Disappointed with the food, Service was maybe average, Coffee was undrinkable (returned it with no check credit provided), Meal was quite expensive given the total mediocre dining experience. Maybe we hit them on a bad day…And to add insult to injury they added an 18% tip for our party of 3 people without telling us.
