Service was great. Ambiance lovely. The food was really disappointing. The Tuna Tartare was over sauced, the salmon over cooked and then left under the heat lamp to overcook some more. The King Crab legs were insanely overpriced and also dry/overcooked.
Our server was perfect but the pork chop I ordered was actually raw. Not rare but completely uncooked which can be dangerous. They refired it so it was good and gave us a desert on the house but still it was below expectations for a place of this caliber. For $49 for a pork chop I expect more.
Peppercorn sauce was bland. Very hard to have a conversation due to noise. Although piano player was great. Server was not enthusiastic. He described pork belly with one word - bacon. Wedge was great as was tuna tartar. Steak was not cooked to requested doneness. Though it was good. Overall would not go back.
Service was interesting! 3 couples with large Seafood Tower—only 2 sets of sauces! No new plates for the Seafood Tower only initial bread and butter plates! But the seafood was excellent! Steaks were all well cooked but I think the flavor and char needed more refinement.
I want to thank Justin for going above and beyond to ensure that our dinner experience was exceptional. His sincere welcome and excellent service made all the difference. Justin was just fantastic. He really understood the cuisine, made excellent suggestions for steak and wine, and valued our comments. We'll be back soon and will definitely request Justin as our server!
We had such a great night with the fire and ice appetizer really only for two people, great Caesar salads— and the lobster and filet mignon were fantastic. The big hit of the night was when we ordered three of the desserts the chocolate cake, the apple and rhubarb item and the cheesecake and the four of us left. Very happy.
Tasteless, low quality food with Encino prices. Caesar salad was just lettuce, could not find any Parmesan or croutons. The sushi appetizer were smelly and the steak was tough. One star experience/value.
Our Server Jose was cool, brought our fries out late due to forgetting to put them in and We were given the wrong Mac and Cheese. They also ran out of bread and the server he was going to take care of us but didn't. The host were nice but I had a reservation for 9:15 and didn't get seated until almost 10pm. Didn't received not one apology or compensated for having to wait for our table even though we had a reservation. For the amount of money you spend, you'd expect better service or think that they would at least have your table ready. I'd rate this location 3/5.
Nice layout and ambience. Hostess was slow and confused, took ten minutes to come to the empty front desk on a slow Monday night, then told my guest I hadn't checked in and sat him at a different table while I sat there waiting for him at another table. His glass of water had something floating in it... Food was good but so expensive and steak was undercooked on both our orders. Service all around not worth the high premium. Who was overseeing and running this evening?? Lacking.
Molly is the best this is my 2nd time having her as our server and both times she has been excellent . She understands what we like she recommends to our likens. Love her, love the piano music, love that I can hear my conversations I don't have to yell. I'm treated with respect and courtesy.

This place was very disappointing. They seemed very disorganized. One server had no idea what the other one was doing. Rather than a team it seemed they were working totally independently of each other. . We were brought a side dish before we had 1st dish of soup. Then even before anything else we were brought coffee. Each time it was intended for a different table. We waited quite some time to pay. The food was good- no wow We all agreed we have eaten much better for the same price or less. Truly a big disappointment
Our server was awesome, the Steak was great

I recently dined at Larsen's Steak House for our anniversary, and it was a fantastic experience. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and Gina, our server, was incredibly sweet and attentive, making our evening special.
Located on the second floor, Larsen's offers valet or paid parking, with meter parking available on Ventura Boulevard. We started with the arugula salad, followed by the tomahawk steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and broccolini. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful. We also tried an Old Fashioned and the Silly Mule, both of which were expertly crafted.
For dessert, they surprised us with a delicious Banana Foster. Though we were quite full, it was so good that we wished we could have finished it all.
The ambiance was pleasant with a live piano player setting a relaxed mood. The restaurant’s atmosphere is upscale but not overly formal, so there's no need to dress up if you prefer not to. While children are welcome, I wouldn’t categorize it as a typical children's restaurant.
Overall, Larsen’s Steak House made our anniversary dinner memorable and enjoyable. We left very satisfied and would definitely return.
Parking: Parking at Larsen's Steak House is quite convenient. The parking is located below the structure with plenty of spaces available. It is a paid parking lot, but valet service is also offered if you prefer. Additionally, there is paid street parking along Ventura Boulevard for those who choose to park outside.

We generally go to Larsen's for special occasions. So many wonderful restaurants in our area have closed and new restaurants are understaffed and poorly run. Larsen's has consistently provided great service (Molly) and each dinner perfectly prepared.
Excellent all around
