Larsen's Steakhouse -- Encino

Went for lunch today. I got a salad which was fine but my coworkers got slides/ burger and both came out basically raw! The restaurant was almost empty but our waiter was no where in site so they couldn't send it back. After waiting an extended period of time the waiter came to check on the table and was told the burgers were still raw. He apologized and comped a diet coke and iced tea totaling $6 on a $70+ check. Not okay considering both plates were pretty much untouched. Had he been around, they could have sent it back. We had to go back to work and didn't have time at that point. Not okay!!!!

My family and I had a wonderful dinner at Larsen's. We started with the wedge and Larsen's House salads. Our steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature. The creamed spinach was delicious, as was the fries. We also got the hash browns, fabulous! We ended the meal with the house special-- butter cake. Oh, so good!!! The music from the pianist added greatly to the festive ambiance. I would like to send an extra thank you to Lisa who took great care of us. She is professional and made the dinner feel special with her attention. I highly recommend Larsen's.

Jaime was an outstanding server. The bar has a great vibe but I sat in one of the booths for solitude and listening to live piano music. Very relaxing.  They have the best flavorful steaks in town and fresh sushi appetizers plus excellent cocktails.  Plenty of parking underneath the building. 

Loved the ambiance and food! Bread was even top tier! Great customer service and experience all together! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Upon arrival there was no one to greet us. We waited quite a long time for someone to come and seat as at a table. The restaurant is definitely dated and could use an update. Food was good but overpriced.

My now fiancée and I had reservations last night at Larsen’s, and it was a very special occasion to us as I proposed to her at dinner. That being said I could not have been more impressed with the wait staff between their helpful knowledge of the menu and amazing hospitality. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the lobster bisque. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice romantic dinner. I couldn’t be happier with our experience.

The food was so bland and tasteless. No seasoning and was lukewarm in temperature. Not my ideal for a family outing on a holiday at a steak restaurant. Very disappointing...

Stellar as ever! Great food! Our waiter Jamie was absolutely wonderful! Enjoy making this our Christmas Eve meal every year!

Our family loves this restaurant, we have had the privilege of having Jamie serve us the last couple times we have eaten here, he is wonderful!

Server “Jose” was the best ever! Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
Seated on the outdoor balcony which was very quiet and relaxing.
Table bread was amazing 10/10 we had to stop eating it so we’d have room for our entree.😂
My wife had the dry aged ribeye 9/10.
The herb crusted chicken was the best 10/10.

Most restaurants don’t stand out but this one we will be returning primarily due to the employees and also for that chicken dish 🔥💯

Our server,Kennedy, was great. Friendly and very responsive. I was not overwhelmed with my steak salad but everything else was good.

The waitress did not bring bread over like they normally do, and then we ordered the grilled Caesar salad and she brought us a plain Caesar salad and then offered to bring the extra things that go with the salad over, but she just brought jicama and dressing and we thought we were gonna get a grilled salad so finally she brought the grilled salad and the whole experience was just a disaster. I was raving to my friend about how lovely it is to dine here, but the whole lunch was a disaster.

At first, I planned to write a poor review because it was frustrating to make reservations by phone or to get anyone even to answer. Eventually, I went online and used OpenTable. It was my first time at the restaurant. I loved everything about it: the food, the service, the ambiance. Kennedy was our waitress. Outstanding! I loved that the Encino location was open for lunch. I'll definitely go back to try the dinner menu. I highly recommend this place.

We ate on the patio for early bird dinner. The menu is very limited so we ordered partially from the dinner menu. The food was good and also expensive. The service was also good. The patio was comfortable and quiet.
