If you’re looking for real, authentic Mediterranean food, Tel Aviv Authentic Kitchen inside the market is a place you absolutely have to visit. From the moment the food hit the table, I knew this was going to be something special. The hummus was silky smooth, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced with tahini — you can really taste the richness in every spoonful. The baba ghanoush had that smoky, fresh quality that only comes when it’s made the right way. The fresh salads were crisp and refreshing, the perfect complement to the richness of the main dishes.

The meatballs and the beef stew were absolutely outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor — you can tell the recipes here come from tradition, not shortcuts. The seasoning was spot-on, the portions were generous, and every single dish felt like it was made with love. Alongside the rice, couscous, and warm challah bread, it was a full meal that left me both satisfied and excited to come back.

What I loved most is that every bite really woke up my taste buds. Nothing felt heavy or bland — it was the kind of food you crave again the moment you finish. And the best part? The market it’s inside of makes the experience even more unique — after you enjoy your meal, you can wander through and pick up authentic groceries and ingredients to take home.

Parking is easy with a large lot, and the staff is warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot that feels this authentic while also being convenient and affordable.

I walked out extremely satisfied, already planning my next visit. If you enjoy Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, or just want to experience something that feels straight from Tel Aviv, you need to give this place a try. It’s a must-visit in Encino, and honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in Los Angeles.

Number one restaurant in encina, if you want to enjoy middle eastern food, clean, kosher, good atmosphere,
There's lots of food and if you need to get more, you just ask and they will give you more salad or potato, soap or rice or eggplant or fries, no charge
Only bad part is too expensive.

This is the best authentic kitchen you will find in san Fernando Valley. They really put customer service above it all, and the food is incredible! They don't get cheap on you when customers ask for more salads, etc.

Palestinian food branded as “israeli”. 🇵🇸 Cute place except for the APARTHEID wall in the middle, that threw me off. Just like my grandparents were thrown out of their homes in 1948 🗝️.. a bit too white felt more *European than Middle Eastern, I did love the 🔻🔻🔻signs on the wall 😉. I was uneasy when they said we will beep you 📟 when your table is ready 😳. There was a bit wait, apparently Someone took our table claimed GOD GAVE IT TO HIM but we found an unoccupied table after all. overall I would BDS this place. Being Pro-Genocide, apartheid and colonization leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.🥴 🇵🇸💚🇱🇧🧡🇵🇸💚🇱🇧🤍🇵🇸

I was craving mediterranian food and I found this place. They have all kinds of home made food like hummus, salad, egg salad, kebob, and otger things. One of the best food I have eaten in a while.

LOL I wasn't planning on leaving a review but after checking the two only comments here, it's too obvious that they're just competitors trying to spread false information and just for that I'm giving them a 5 star rating to even out the playing field so to speak - this rating is based on their other locations which I've frequented
