It was chilly in LA so before I started my commute home I stopped in at the Coffee Bean to grab a hot cocoa for my ride. The server was super accommodating and friendly, and made the cocoa as if it were homemade. The only negative thing I have to say about the Coffee Bean, Encino would be its parking but that won't discourage me from returning. I will definitely be back.

The barista with the brown hair and blonde highlights/ tips was soooooo beyond rude. First off we ordered two lattes, one iced and one hot (receipt verified we ordered correctly) and blonde girl who took our order was super nice and welcoming. Once we got our drinks, we received two iced drinks with no label and the barista didn't say which are which so we look at our receipt to see if we ordered wrong and we didn't so we go up to her and asked which drink is which. The barista literally gave us the dirtiest look like we were stupid and said "well that's lighter so it's oatmilk.." so we said okay, but we also ordered a hot caramel latte not iced so she gets it and throws it hard into the trash and turns around while rolling her eyes. At this point, I didn't know what to say so I said thank you. Now Im standing there like ok? What did we do wrong? What did we say to warrant that kind of reaction? Then she finished making it and passes it to us all angry and we say thank you again and she just states rolls her eyes AGAIN and turns around. Worst experience ever..

Okay, this was my first time there. It is definitely a vibe. Leather chairs and clear signage. The coffee was good. I had a small mocha with a warmed blueberry muffin. They have normal portion sizes, so if you worry about over eating with the larger sized portions that never share and eat in one sitting, knowing you shouldn't. You will not have that problem here?.

I'm a fan of coffee bean in general. I prefer them over Starbucks. The only problem is at most coffee shops including Starbucks, when you order a regular coffee, the cashier makes it on the spot and gives it to you. Not at coffee bean. They send it to the people making all of the complicated coffee drinks and food. They're already overwhelmed with one off drinks and to go orders. It takes a long time just to get a black coffee. Half the time they forget it and when you ask for it after people behind you got your order they say it's on its way and make it after. It's not the best way to start your day. I really recommend the cashier getting the regular coffee orders filled on the spot.

Always the best! I usually order a mocha hazelnut iced blended with chocolate swirl... I have it made special: 3/4 hazelnut and 1/4 mocha. Or my other go to would be Jasmin Peach Iced Tea, Chai Tea, or better yet a Winter Dream latte (a spicier Chai). Their coffees/lattes/teas are way better than the green label place, especially their teas, which are made by seeping actual tea leaves.

I know this is a chain, but this location has such a friendly staff and inviting atmosphere they've cultivated here in Encino. I am compelled to leave a great review for these lovely people. Also I'm no coffee connoisseur, but the cold brew has the right acidity and perhaps notes of dark chocolate after each sip. Wish I could get the sippy cup lids, but beyond that everything is wonderful here.

I love this spot. Come here all the time and the staff is always so friendly. I have heard the new staff members being trained and they train with great care and special attention to detail and customer service.Parking: Parking lot behind that is also for 3 other stores. Parking lot entrance is kind of small so being mindful as you come up on it. Meter parking in the front of the store.
