Absolute hidden gem. I stopped by once, a few months ago thinking it was a standalone location, but found its inside the bank building. I have no reason to ever go back to that building but I crave the sandwich I had DAILY! I’ll definitely be back soon

I recently checked out The Eatery Encino on a friend's tip, and wow, am I glad I did! Tucked away on the 2nd floor, just a quick left and three doors from the elevators, this place is a little slice of cafe heaven. The food? Absolutely amazing. I tried the custard croissant and it was everything you'd want – flaky, buttery, with just the right amount of creamy custard. And the pastrami breakfast burrito was a flavor bomb in the best way possible. But it's not just the food that's great here. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. It's got that cozy cafe vibe that's just perfect for hanging out or grabbing a quick bite. I'm already planning my next visit!

I never thought I'd be leaving a review like this for the Eatery but I'm just really disappointed. The other day I ordered a Snow White sandwich and the avocado was completely hard, I had to take it out of my sandwich. That wasn't just an honest mistake because when you slice avocado you can tell it's not ready and they put it on my sandwich anyway. I went back a couple days later and let them know about it and the guy said "oh, yeah, sometimes we get avocados that are bad" and that was the end of the conversation. There was no accountability taken or offer to give me a credit or anything. And he basically admitted that he knew it was bad and served it to me anyway. He could have easily told me they don't have it right now and ask if I want the sandwich without it but he chose to serve me garbage. This really really shocked me I have to be honest. I've been a customer since day 1. My sandwich aside, there are so many reviews now that talk about their attitude and unfriendliness, and those complaints have been going for a while but nothing changes. It's just disrespectful and there's no excuse for it anymore. I've been going down there a lot less because of this. Like I said I'm just really disappointed I feel like they're kind of taking advantage of the building tenants and the convenience of them being there so they're not trying with the customer service, because they can get away with it. Please do better.

Impossible to find (Must’ve been created for employees who work in the building and already know where it is). 15 minutes to make a hot sandwich.

The Chinese chicken salad was okay, unfortunately the chicken breast was quite chewy and overcooked but the salad was well prepared and the service as good seeing that the gentleman provided a delicious freshly baked cookie complimentary.I'll come back hoping that the chicken is better next time.

By far the best breakfast burrito I've had!!! They are always so nice and give us free cookie (which are THE BEST)I always get their hangover burrito and it's delicious. Every burrito is wrapped so perfectly and every bite has a little bit of everything! And don't get my started on the salsa that goes with the burritos!!!

Tiny spot found in the 2nd floor of the City National Building on Ventura Blvd. you get 15 minutes free parking to do a pick-up. Have been here a few times for takeout though you do have the option to eat in but I think more of the building tenants do that. Pretty good with order timing, food has always been ready for my pick up when I have ordered. The standout menu items are their Chinese Chicken Salad, Sweet and Salty Panini, Caprese Sandwich and Pastrami Reuben Sandwich.

This is a hidden gem open to the public. The speakeasy of cafe delis. On the SECOND FLOOR of the NATIONAL BANK building. Great sandwiches, a good menu, and reasonable prices. I missed the breakfast burrito by 10 minutes (11 AM). The atmosphere is something between deli, coffee shop, and sports bar. Everything is immaculate and the space is open and bright. Hop off the elevator and turn left to the second door. Take a friend to surprise them like you know a secret exclusive place.

I recently visited the eatery and was blown away by the high-quality food and friendly service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch with friends or a relaxing cup of coffee. The menu had a great variety of options, and I was able to find something that suited my tastes perfectly. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty meal in a comfortable setting.
