Worse customer service from the phone being hung up on after saying "will be ready in 10min". Walks in and the same lady who took my order she has purple hair wearing a black shirt, so I assume it's actually the manager. When I walk in, I don't even get greeted she's just staring at me with a weird look on her face and I smile and say hi I'm picking up she puts the bag on the counter and says $6.57. And I'm confused because she didn't even ask for my name and then walks away and I'm standing there with the Western Bagel card to get swiped and just not one word was said to me. It's crazy because the old western bagel has the best and nicest employees. Been going there for years and I know there is the same lady who has worked there for many years I didn't see her so I hope she is still there or moved on knowing it's not the same. If the lady with purple hair is indeed the manager I truly feel bad for the legacy of the Encino location. Food is always great this is a review specifically on her and the customer service at this location.

Worst customer service, the guy with the afro was so rude to my husband. Than the lady with green hair was so rude to another customer. Over bad service, and very gueto service. You guys should train ur staff better

This is the worst western bagels I have ever been too, employees are rude and impatient with customers. My friends lettuce on her lox bagel had an insect on it, the employee was like I see the legs moving but if we wash the lettuce and it's still there we can't do anything. This is so disrespectful and rude. We wish we took a picture

Who makes a lox bagel without the lox?! Why is the coffee ALWAYS burnt? I've had matzos with more moisture than that prepacked hockey puck of a muffin I recieved. And why even bother asking if you want the bagel toasted if you never actually toast them? They aren't worth the hassel and definitely not worth the money. Just go to literally any other bagel shop. This location is an utter disaster.

Bagels are good, Terrible Service. HEY Western Bagel Corporate get somebody in there to clean up this store and train your staff! Not everyone is terrible but the majority of staff are and have bad attitudes, like it's an inconvenience to wait on customers and they would rather rearrange the cookies on the counter than take your order (true story, Hello! I'm standing right here!) Making the sandwiches is time consuming and creates slow down, you should have some staff designated for only making sandwiches and other staff filling orders for bagels or pastry to go. I will add that if you can order on line, you can avoid the bad service, I've had good luck with that.

This morning I had a delicious egg ala bagel here. Sunshine helped me. There was quite a line, however it moved quickly. The bagel sandwich was tasty and the service was excellent. Sunshine asked me how my day was going and she waited for my response. She treated me with such kindness. The restaurant is clean and their refrigerator section was well stocked.

The breakfast sandwiches are delicious made to order. Our staff loves their bagels and many different cream cheese choices. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
