The Big Dipper Reviews
The location can be difficult to get in/out of when Jackson Avenue is busy (which it often is.)The ice creams are made onsite and while a limited variety, there are often some interesting flavors. Prices are a bit high for what you get. They have a bistro menu, but I've never seen anyone ordering from it.The staff are usually nice and helpful, but sometimes they seem to be far busier chatting with each other rather than helping customers.
I have been searching all over for a black cherry milkshake and The Big Dipper is the only one who has delivered! It wasn't technically on the menu but she was game to give it a go. It was soooooo good. Creamy deliciousness that I had been craving. Super friendly service and the prices aren't bad. Highly recommend.

Great little ice cream store right there in Escalon! My grandson and I try to go there on Fridays- making it a special day to end the week. They also have some specialty items for purchase.
