Found this shop while we were in town for a Baseball Tournament. Hole in the wall. Best ever. This place has a great selection. Their sandos are amazing. We had an 8" roast beef and an 8" peperoni with all the fixes. The flavor was great and the process were great for this day and age. Loved their wall of law enforcement patches.
One of the best places you'll find in North County and most certainly Escondido for sub-style sandwiches and other delicious Italian food. It's very small so the wait can sometimes be a bit much. I suggest you order ahead via telephone or online. There is nowhere to sit... it's strictly a grab & go place. But if you're a deli person, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better sandwich anywhere.
I highly recommend you go there to get a great Sandwich there it's called original... I was born and raised an Escondido and now I live in vista so I go all the way to ask me to get this great Sandwich...
