DOUGH WITH A PISCA OF MEAT IS WHAT THEY CALL TAMALES 🫔 $2.50 EACH, I LITERALLY THINK THEY SHOULD REFUND ME TWO DOLLARS FOR THE EXCESSIVE DOUGH AND CHARGE ME ONLY $0.50 CENTS FOR THE LITTLE MEAT THAT THE TAMAL CAME, THEY ALSO MAKE THE BREADS SMALLER AND SMALLER BUT THE PRICE CONTINUES TO RISE, BUT AS UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE BUYERS THEY WILL CONTINUE TO SCAM US!

Delicious bread!…..but the girl who serves on the weekends, in the morning, always seems to be in a bad mood. Even if you greet her and say thank you, they make you feel like you are begging for alms, very despotic. I have been buying bread almost every Sunday for almost 2 years now and I prefer not to buy a lot of bread to get out of there in a hurry. A shame because one expects bad service in franchised places...but not in a small business and for the people of Escondido. For now I won't stop buying but it's the only thing they could improve for the business.

Went around 10:30am. The place looked messy. The trays to get your breads were dirty and all over the counter space. There was also debris on the floor. Workers were restocking some breads, so carts were in the way. The selection of breads was ok. We bought five pieces. They were dense and dry.

I have been going to this place occasionally for about three years and today I went to want to buy a bobbin, which by the way is getting smaller and smaller. Well, I ordered a tamale, I asked the cashier if they could cut the bolillo for me, to which she replied that they couldn't do it, I asked her why not? And he only told me that they didn't do that in a very rude and rude way. I left there without buying anything. Then I came back to ask for his name, which he didn't want to give me. A man came out who said he was the owner and he was also very rude. And he didn't want to give me his name either, he went out into the street telling me things, he took photos of my truck's license plates and said that if I spoke badly he would respond to me, the truth is I felt threatened by these people because of their somewhat rude and rude behavior. Maybe a little aggressive and until now I don't know why they took photos of my truck's license plates and for what reason they should give a good quality service to those of us who go and pay for it, they are not asked for free or Borrowed, three years and these people have ruined it, I'm not going to go back there. It's a shame because at first everything was very good, I don't know if it's the same owner or someone else but it's a very bad experience, I understand their policy of not cutting bread but there are ways I think.

Whenever I try to support small businesses I end up disappointed. I went in to ask if they could make a basic cake for me no design or toppers/decorations or even the swirls on the top. Just a plain pink and white cake since I saw a similar cake on their Google photos. I’ll add the photo that I was referring to. I waited patiently and showed her a photo of a cake with just pink and white. He told me that he couldn't do it because there were only the cakes in the refrigerator. Suddenly he turned around and answered the phone without telling me that he was going to answer it and left me standing. I understand that I couldn't do it (no matter how basic it was). But I could have been nicer. Afterwards I went to the Albertsons bakery and they served me with great pleasure and took my order. I recommend the Albertsons on E Valley Pkwy if you want a basic cake that you can customize. Because apparently they don't take orders for cakes here, no matter how basic they are. ??‍♀️
