Brought the dog for a quick Friday night bite and drink. I'm still try to figure it how they cAn put out better food with the small kitchen/but they have compared to full blown restaurants. The cobbish salad I had was dynamite 🧨 and they actually give you enough dressing to cover your salad. What a concept 🙌🏽. The pesto flatbread was aloe quite delish. Soft bread...tasty toppings. Service super attentive. Brought the pup some water. Different types of furniture and styles to sit on and a nice fire pit. One table was a little wobbly and I would be scared to sit at it. That might be time to go! Plenty of beer to choose from. Nice to see so many people come and chill there. Prices are fairly decent and portions are good.

Nice fun casual place to try different beers. You can pour your own, as little or as much as you want. Beer is cold, food is good. Try the charcuterie board. We have been 2x. Outdoor and indoor seating. Pets allowed outside. There were families with kids too

We found this cute place when we were in the Escondido area to take our son to his prom. It's a super cute place with a farmhouse vibe. They have seating inside and out. There's a cool area outside with a seating and a firepit. It has a comfortable feel if you want a beer or just to eat like we did. The service and staff were great. If we lived closer, we definitely would go there often.

A hidden gem of Escondido. It is a great place to go and relax with friends.
Just checked this place out a couple weeks back, it’s good to see a new spot in this location. They had a nice outdoor seating area, and a lot of good beers on tap. I’m not the biggest fan of the pour your own beer with the card system, but they did have a good selection. The food was OK. I hope they continue to improve as I would love to come check them out again.

We had an awesome time at Barn Door Public House! First off, ample parking made getting in and out super easy, which is always a win. The outdoor patio is beautiful, with cozy seating and a fire pit that adds such a great vibe — perfect for hanging out in the evening.
They’ve got a great selection of beers on tap, and I really appreciated that they also offer Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a white wine option for the wine drinkers in our group. I struggled a bit at first with the self-pour beer system, but the staff was super friendly and one of them even walked me through how to use the beer sample card properly to avoid over-foaming and wasting the beer — much appreciated!
We were there with our kids and were happy to find a stash of board games, which kept them entertained while we relaxed. As for the food — the charcuterie board was top-notch, and the buffalo chicken flatbread and chips with guac hit the spot. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.
This place strikes a perfect balance between chill and classy. Definitely coming back!

Really fun spot, great selection of beers and beverages.
Food was definitely not as advertised or as on the menu.
Not good at keeping menus or advertisements updated. Have on multiple occasions found that menu items had been cancelled, or advertised items no longer on the menu.
Great place, but temper your expectations on what you might be looking forward to ordering.
