What a lovely surprise to receive European style service in an Escondido restaurant. Our waiter, Fernando kept surprising me over and over again with his thoughtfulness. The food was over excellent - I gave it only a four star rating because the shell fish, particularly the mussels and clams in my cioppino were all undersized. However, the flavoring was superb!
I highly recommend this jewel of fine dining sequestered away in Escondido.

Fantastic place to have a meal. The atmosphere was very welcoming despite it being busy. service couldn't have been better. The only critique I could add would be that my scallops were overcooked. Presentation was great though. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you have a little extra cash to spend. Oh, there was also live music that we enjoyed very much.

Our first time here as Escondido residents and can’t believe we waited this long to visit! Our food was incredible and our server, Fernando, was very attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. Even had live Jazz! We will be back

Shrimp appetizer was beyond delicious and the pork belly appetizer was okay but we wouldn't order again. Steak was tender and good cut but came out cold when the fettuccine Alfredo was hot and good but not traditional tasting. Overall the service was great, and the place was on the romantic side and our steak was reheated when asked. We'd go back.

I took my parents to dinner for their 40th anniversary and we all had a great time. Food was great, enjoyed the ambience, and service was fantastic. Fernando made every interaction special. What a gem, that guy. We'll be back!

We decided to try Bellamy’s for the first time and happened to mention to the hostess while making our reservation that we were celebrating our 64th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, We were warmly welcomed first by the bartender who seated us and then by the hostess who enthusiastically congratulated us and offered something special. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and perfectly timed our meal selections. The food was outstanding. First we had the watermelon salad which was wonderful. Then the calamari and shrimp appetizers - yum! My husband enjoyed the cioppino and I had the seabass - all perfectly prepared and delicious. We topped it off with a creme brulee and the butter cake! Needless to say we enjoyed every bite. This was a perfect choice for our anniversary and we intend to return for another culinary experience at Bellamy’s.

My family and I had a very disappointing experience here. We were seated and then had to move and bring our own menus and plates with us. Then our orders seemed to be forgotten about, twice. Super bummed because we used to like this place a lot.
