Quaint little winery in Escondido County. They have a cute store wherein you can purchase individual cheeses, charcuterie, crackers, wine gifts and more. I'd highly recommend a trip up for any wine lover.

This is a casual little winery that's not located on a vineyard, but the wine selection was good and there was a good amount of space to enjoy a little picnic basket with our wine tasting. Staff was nice too. I recommend the red flight.

What a wonderful experience! Kind and friendly service by the gentleman in the tasting room. We got the red flights and they were so yummy! I love the castle ambiance as well! Will be returning someday soon :)

This winery is a hidden gem. The wines are good and the grounds are beautiful. A flight of 5 wines to taste is $15. Well worth it. The staff was so nice and helpful. We will definitely return to this winery.
Very disappointed and had a poor experience. We were served moldy cheese (fuzzy blue growing all over it). It's right next to the free way and there's nothing to be done about the sound.

I am travelling in my RV and found these folks through the Harvest Host membership. This means I got the pleasure of spending a night here. It was a lovely way to end a day. I was delayed so phoned ahead and they had my white wine flight ready as I pulled in at 4:50. The team was so friendly and found me a sunny spot to sit outside in Adirondack chairs that gave a view of their lovely courtyard. Several groups appeared to be picnicking with their wine flights and/or bottles. Their was no urgency for anyone to leave even when the tasting room closed. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Blanc de Blancs Champagne-style sample. (And I'm not a "bubble" person!) I stayed overnight in the lower level parking. yes, I could hear the highway noise but that was offset by overlooking a large nursery. I definitely recommend stopping here when travelling south to San Diego Very easy access from the highway.

Beautiful winery and great views. It was a warm evening and I enjoyed my flight of whites. The brut was especially extraordinary. I will be back and just get a glass of that! Very friendly staff/owners and the grounds are lovely. I will be back! PS they only sell snacks their but they are very okay with you bringing food there to have a picnic with the wine (which is what I did)

I visited the winery recently while on a trip back home to SoCal to visit family. It was lovely! I had a flight of whites that was very reasonably priced and the wines were exquisite! The view and grounds were wonderful too and the owners...I met two...were very friendly despite being pretty busy. I will be back! PS BTW, they do not sell food there...just light snacks...but they will let you bring a picnic to eat at the outside tables, in the gazebo, or on the grass. That is what I did and it was perfect!
