Bad, just so disappointed. Worst birria I've ever had. Consommè was boring and bland. I'll be sticking with Michi's for my birria. 4.4 stars is not deserved.

I purposely upon my first visit ordered one Seared Goat and one Beef Stew as they call it.
Both half orders if birria type dishes. The seared goat meat was partially seared and the rest was from the bottom of the barrel with bone fragments and arteries along with mostly fat instead of seared chunks of tender goat that I imagined.
Horrible dish, glad I only ordered half order that I threw in the trash. The Beef Birria Stew was ok, but was not like most birria I have had. The consume was not juice from the beef it was a brownish clear broth that was like eating instant broth from a package. Large dinning room and only four people eating, that's when I should have known this is not popular. Dinning room was not inviting. So I ordered to go. The homemade tortias were thick and mealy. If this. Is authentic then I'm glad I eat at non authentic places. I wish I could score it a negative 5 stars. Waste of 30 bucks
The people are nice and the food is the best
The truth is, I went to this place only once and I didn't like the birria. It tastes like you don't often have birria now, but there are people who don't care about the taste.
I think most gringos discover birria late. It is difficult to describe but really delicious. Birreria Ay Jalisco provides a true version of traditional birria with beef or goat. The tacos with queso and their salsa is very good.

Had the birria molcajete, handmade tortillas, rice, and quesabirria....I really enjoyed the quesabirria, the birria molcajete, the beans and the handmade tortillas. I especially enjoyed the birria stayin' hot ? in the molcajete and having no
coagulation, like birria typically does after a few minutes of it being served. Here u can take your time eating and savoring it without it coagulating. The handmade tortillas were the icing on the birria. They just made it taste that much better, and it wasn't gamey either. Thanks for staying open longer for us to enjoy a good tasting lunch. By the way, the molcajete can easily be shared by 4 or more people. The customer service was also exceptional. Thank you for staying open past your closing hours for us to enjoy Birria at your location for the first time.
Parking: Restaurant sits in an outdoor Plaza that has plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: It's definitely kid friendly. Your kids just need to like birria, not just nuggets and fries. But if they do, they will really enjoy eating at Birria Ay Jalisco.

They charge you like pary if there are 6 people, I didn't understand but I hadn't noticed it, I don't know if it's already a new tax
I love their tattooed birria, I enjoy it a lot!
We had the plan to eat at this place because the food is tasty, but today the place was dirty and the nylon chairs were broken, how are you going to sit in that dirty place?? Better we went to eat somewhere else, it's no use if you have good food if your place is disgusting.

Delicious Birria de res o chivo..I always go for the tres fuego goat soup, you choose how spicy you want it,I always get 3,because i love it super spicy..I ask for no macisa ,and more of the ribs, depends how u like the meat..make sure if you take it to go and you asked for chivo to double check because they have messed up my order many times for birria de res instead of chivo..other than that it so yummy, tacos ,quesa tacos..not a big fan of the birria chilaquiles I forgot the name for it,but you might end up liking it so try it..they sell beer ,a pacifico does it for me..they have chips and salsa, salsa is somehow spicy but good..handmade tortillas is a plus!
