We had our favorite booth and favorite server. Food was very good and plenty of it. Ice tea glass was kept full and a delicious dessert. What more could you want?

I was a bit disappointed- when I made the reservation, I noted birthday. We checked in, o one mentions it, then the hostess asked if we had a special occasion- I said yes, it is my sisters birthday. She said I will let your server know. I assumed it had been communicated. We ate our meal, no mention of it. I had to let our server know once my sister went to the restroom. He thorn broke a part ce of cake and a candle and said he didn't know. I believe that he was not aware. My question is “what was the point of putting it on the reservation AND telling the hostess if no one did anything about it until I asked? Very disappointed.

We had Brunch at the Escondido location and the outdoor patio is very nice. Service was great and the food was excellent!

Overall it was good. Service was a little slow but also he was very nice so nothing to complain about.

We were celebrating an anniversary. We showed up 15 minutes early and they were unable to seat us because I guess they don't start dinner service until 5pm. So we sat in the lobby waiting while we watched patrons head into another section of the restaurant to dine. I had no idea there were two separate dining areas! Our service was great. No complaints! But the food was....meh...okay. I really wanted the food to be good because we were paying for it. But it didn't quite hit the level you would expect for an expensive meal. The location wasn't outstanding. And the area we sat in had A/C blowing on us constantly. It was a little uncomfortable to sit with it blowing air on us nonstop. We didn't have time to eat dessert and it probably worked out best that way. Would I come back to the Brigantine? Probably not. There are other restaurants that serve better food for less money. I really wanted this spot to hit it out of the park. But it just didn't happen for us. No fault on the server at all! She was great!

As usual, everything was delicious. We tried the scallops this time and was not disappointed. My friend had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and said it was delicious. Our server was wonderful, always checking on us to be sure everything was to our liking. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Service was careful and wonderful. Kitchen was willing to make CrabCakes Benedict for brunch even though not on menu, and they were supreme. Shrimp/crab salad was enormous and yum. Thank you

Great server, recommended great food, was very attentive to our needs. Food is delicious, especially the swordfish. Service is quick but reasonable meaning that you have time to finish your appetizers before they serve main course.

It was the first time at thus location. My girlfriend and I decided to check it out. I ordered a killer French cut pork chop with veggies and mashed potatoes with a marsala sauce. The chop was cooked to perfection and the marsala was very flavorful. My girlfriend ordered macadamia crusted Mahi with parmesan risotto, the mahi was excellent but the risotto was sub par.

The gentleman that took care of our table was perfect. He asked about what we might be celebrating, we were here from WI and just visiting family. He brought us dessert and was just the greatest.

All of the Brigantine restaurants in San Diego County are an excellent choice, but in my opinion after visiting all of the SD Brigantines, Escondido stands out as the Crown Jewel. You will not be disappointed.

We love going here on Taco Tuesdays during happy hour. They offer a great menu for happy hour and another taco menu. Can't go wrong with the full size shrimp cocktail for $7. And their tacos are really good !
You sit in the bar area, they also offer outdoor dining. It can get busy, and if you are ok sharing a large table with strangers you usually will not have trouble finding a seat together.

Noise was deafening even though the place was half empty. No place to go for conversation.

The signature dish , Swordfish, was lovely. The risotto was a bit pasty. Brocollini was perfect. Nice dinner for sure!

After we waited for our food, it took a long time to get served (15+ minutes) after our side of the room was nearly empty. Unacceptable!
