always love going to cpk but this was my first time trying to go to this location in escondido and even though it says they close at 10pm online when i went inside the host said they closed at 8pm :( should be changed on google

Overall it's pretty good. The food is just as quality as any other location. My only issue is that the service can be a little disorganized and inconsistent. Mostly because it's in the middle of a mall. They want you to wait for a host to seat you, but when I arrived I had to wait for 15 min before anyone even saw I was there. Not personally a deal breaker, but good info to have.

Came here with my friend after a day of shopping. We ordered the Spicy Buffalo cauliflower for our appetizer, a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the Cedar Plank Salmon. Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower was a bit watery, so when we bit into it, it was mostly water.. I’ve had cauliflower bites that were a little more dehydrated then that so it just felt like kind of eating water but the Buffalo had great flavor. The pizza was standard. Nothing special but good. And the Cedar Plank Salmon was a smoked salmon cooked on a cedar plank with really good flavor. It was served with a side of spinach and corn succotash that was really fresh and tasty. The server was super tentative to us but it wasn’t that busy. The restaurant was pretty empty and kind of dark inside. Over al good experience but kind of overpriced.

Bad service, bad and expensive food, watch out for future Costco not only their food is much better but way less expensive. I was able to take a pic of the pizza they were going to give me all burned out, they had to remake it. I don't recommend this place , I am done period.

California Pizza Kitchen was a satisfying experience! ? Their pizzas hit the spot, and I appreciated that they were accommodating, swapping out meat for veggies. The only hiccup was after we finished dining; no one attended to us for the check. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise great visit. ?️?

Dipped in plain balsamic vinegar, added flavor to it.Discrepancy on the price, menu listed as $16.49 (actual price, $17.99)Naomy was nice. She asked if we wanted bread & oil and she brought them out for us to enjoy while waiting for our pizza.We shared the pizza (6 slices). Each of us had 2, still had some to take home to enjoy for snacks later. Guess both of us don’t eat much. Enjoyed our dining experience here.

Food today was not as good as previously. Chicken was a little overcooked and pasta a little undercooked. Starter dumplings were chewy and dry. Ice tea had too much ice.Music is great, though! And service is excellent.I'll try again another time.

We've been at the Escondido CPK other times and was ok. This time unfortunately wasn't. We've ordered Margarita/bbq chicken pizza and a summer salad that has strawberries. The pizza was extremely soggy, tomato sauce for the Margarita pizza?? You almost couldn't see the dough. The salad.... I believe they had mixed the olive oil and vinegar, way before it was served, so the greens looked old and the strawberries were tasting old and also soggy. Unfortunately it wasn't a positive dinner and experience. Maybe a different and not experienced chef??
