Delicious Vietnamese cuisine! Everything is truly fresh. The atmosphere is calming & lovely to complement the food and I loved the authentic dinning ware. The staff is also friendly and inviting. Highly recommended!

Service was fantastic. Both the server and owner were very accommodating considering we brought our two kids (toddler and baby).

Food was good and on par with other pho restaurants we’ve frequented before moving to Escondido. I do like that their menu is simple and straight forward. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, pho with rare steak and brisket, and taro milk tea. Our oldest (toddler) loves pho broth and noodles and he didn’t want to stop eating 😂 I know there’s a boba shop next door, but their taro milk tea was tasty!

Atmosphere is clean and relaxed. Our toddler loves the fan and the fish tank. Rated it 4/5 stars because there isn’t much decoration on the walls, but I know that’ll change as business builds.

Overall, we had good food and enjoyed our visit. We’ll be back!

Had the grilled pork spring rolls - very good! Also had the grilled chicken Banh Mi - not so good. Bread tended to be on the stale side & the chicken was kinda dry, not so much favorable. Service was most excellent, courteous & polite. Atmosphere, the place was very spacious - felt like I was eating in a warehouse. Fans above kept place nice & cool & were decorative. Will try it again in the future.

Our family was vacationing from Kansas and decided to try Vietnamese food for the first time. We had a great experience at Chieu Kitchen! Our 7 kids ages 7-21 enjoyed the food very much! The environment was really nice, the service was fast, and the owner was very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations for ordering. Also the menu was the best ever with pictures of every dish and drink. A fun, unique, kid friendly dining experience!

My family and I have been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is constantly warm and welcoming. The garlic beef noodles, pork spring rolls, and of course pho are our go-tos but ever when we order something else, it’s always amazing. Definitely add Chieu to your must visit!

So happy to have a legit Pho and Bahn Mi place in Escondido, where we are usually surrounded by your typical chain restaurants.

The owner is very friendly!

Update: my husband and I come here fairly often and the owner knows our order as soon as we sit down. He even knows I love extra noodles and legit fish sauce, so he serves it all up so nicely, such amazing food and friendly staff.

Only in town for a few days but my companions and I were craving Vietnamese food. We found Chieu Kitchen via Google and placed an order to be picked up. Upon entering, I wished we’d eaten inside because the place looked very nice. The tables were all taken and the place had a buzz on a Wednesday night at 7:30, even though they apparently close at eight.

The gentleman who greeted me was extremely friendly and handed me my order as I approached the counter.

If you’re in the Escondido area and craving Vietnamese, give Chieu Kitchen a try.
