I tried to go with a group of 5 (myself included). I should note that I work with people with disabilities. The tables only seat 4, so 3 of us sat at one table while 2 sat at the table next to us. The worker asked us to sit together. When I explained why we could not due to space, she told us to sit at the furthest table in the back (it was hot and the other tables had shade. This one didn’t). The table she sent us to was also for 4 people and no chairs to pull up next to it. It was 11AM and we were the only group present. We chose to spend our money where we could sit comfortably instead (thanks Jilibertos)!
This was a month ago. I waited to post this review to see if they get as busy as they claimed. I always see tables available at 11-12, so I’m not sure why the worker (lady) made a fuss.

We used to like this place, but the weekend cashier is rude and acts like you're bothering her when you ask questions. The food was expensive for the quantity and quality. The owner is super nice and I want to support them but think they need to improve their staff.

The tacos are the big style for $4.50 with more meat than standard street tacos. The carnitas was okay, but not much flavor and no crispy bits as found in the best examples. The adobada meat also didn't have much flavor and the little cubes were for the most part very chewy. They do include a dollop of guacamole. Only one hot sauce is available, a medium hot red chile. I wanted a small side of chips, but you have to pay an absurd $5.99 to get any at all.

If you’re not eating here, you should be. Don’t let the cash only scare you away from this perfect taco shop.
We had the rolled tacos and a deep fried, bean and cheese burrito chased by a Horchata. Everything is on point! Bring your friends and family here to eat delicious food!!
Super friendly staff as well 🤩🤩🤩

I took a picture of the building because there was sunset behind it. the employee came out and accused me of casing the building to Rob it? it was not a pleasant experience. plus they don't accept cards. I did not eat there.
Carne asada burritos just aren't the same when you leave San Diego. Where I live, they like to load them down with beans, but I prefer the simplicity of just the carne, salsa and guacamole. That's what I was expecting here, and I'm pretty sure they were in my burrito, but the last was overwhelmed by the addition of lettuce. And the lettuce to carne ratio just wasn't good. I think I ended up with more meat in my taco than in y burrito.
The taco abogada itself was excellent. The meat was flavorful and plentiful. I was given a choice of salsas and the hot didn't burn my mouth, but it did pack both flavor and heat.
I wouldn't go out of my way to hit this taco stand again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid it, either. I would just choose tacos over burritos if I hit them up again.
Great food served in an old school barrel shared building with shaded seating. Staff are very cool.
The food is good, but the customer service is not very good, usually with each order they give you two small bottles of salsa, but now if they went too far, I bought 2 carne azada fries, two large azada tacos and a burrito of dyabla shrimp and they only gave me 5 little bottles of sauce, don't go too far, that's already too many elbows, someone in their right mind will have enough 1-2 little bottles of sauce for some meat fryes, I mean I invested $58 dollars to give me 5 little bottles of sauce, the net worth of elbows ?
A little pricy but very good. Veggie burrito was around $15.

I expected more for the price they charge. My burrito did not have much inside it. I held it and it started to fold.
