One of the best Mexican places I’ve been to. The Mexican rice was fantastic, the refried beans were so smooth and tasty, the green enchilada sauce was divine, and the chicken taco was one of the best I’ve ever had. Friendly service. Outdoor seating with shade on a warm day. You could ask for more. Highly recommend!!

A gem off the main road. My wife and I wanted some breakfast burritos. We were greeted with a smile. After we ordered was given some chips and bean dip in a small container while we wait. It was a nice surprise. The salsa bar was neat and clean. The taste .... So good. Wife enjoyed the verde salsa. The food tasted great. Nice size burritos. A new spot for us. If my wife and I are in Escondido this is a go to spot. Pictures post are from February 2026. Prices Subject to change over time.

Find this little gem after a long day driving! It was what my souls needed. I found tripa tacos which are my favorite and not that popular, the tacos were delicious and crispy, the staff were very welcoming and kind.

This place was a fantastic find! We were in Escondido for an appointment and my husband and I realized we were starving and needed to find someplace to eat quickly before our next appointment. I looked this place up on Google and it had a 4.6 so we went over and checked it out. Got a breakfast burrito and we both agree that it was the best breakfast burrito we’ve ever eaten in our lives. A little spendy - but so is everything these days - the burrito is torpedo size, and for me it’s two meals. We added pico de gallo, guacamole, bacon, and chose hashbrowns over fries, which was an excellent decision.
Salsa on hand were very good too.
We had our 10 month old baby with us and he started to get fussy/hungry the owner made us a plain egg scramble for free for him. So nice!
Atmosphere gets three stars because it was just your average Taqueria atmosphere. However, the welcoming and family vibe was really great.
