The workers at this site go above and beyond. They are super friendly and get along with each other so happily. It’s a great experience to watch them interact with each other and with customers. Prices have literally reached that of a local taco shop in regards to burritos.I love el pollo loco but any San diegan will simply just go to 1 of many taco shops in close proximity to el pollo loco.el pollo loco can’t compete both in size and flavor with a taco shop especially at the same -or higher price point,Kind of a no brainer.If I receive any coupons I’ll stop in but other than that- thank you el pollo loco, it’s been fun!

The food was really good. But from the moment we walked in they were rude as hell, the guy was irritated that we wanted to look at the menu. The dirty looks that we got made us feel so uncomfortable. The guy gave me my change back and pretty much dropped it before I put my hand out to grab it. The workers kept laughing and staring at us while we ate. Making us feel even more uncomfortable or like they did something to the food we were eating. The food was really good but in the future we'll definitely be going to a different location. I've never felt so uncomfortable eating a place like I did here. Very unpleasant experience let alone very unprofessional.

Two weeks ago I went in to order my food. After I received my food I had requested an extra cilantro. The person behind the counter said yes. Out comes the supervisor with a nasty voice saying next time let us know so we can charge you. I said how much is the dressing. She said 49cents l said here a dollar she didn’t want to take it. I paid for anyway. Today I went and asked for the three piece white meat. Got home and I got dark meat. Very bad service.
