Not at all surprised they went out of business. The video on their website made the venue appear very inviting. But, the actual experience was not at all like that. Upon entering, the outdoor seating was always disheveled and not inviting. Often, there were several people smoking at the tables or all, around the building. Both are in violation of city codes and a very huge turnoff. Another negative was all the dogs. Dogs are cool. But, not at restaurants. For 90% that's a real turnoff. Once inside, the vibe was really lacking character and identity. The video made it look vibrant. But, in reality, it never was. As for the servers, there were but a few that were upbeat and welcoming. James was terrific and should have been the example for which the other employees be held to. If not, adios.
As for the food. The food was good. In the last 4 months, the menu got better, simplified and the food was good. A bit on the pricey side, but that is very common these days. I don't mind paying a little more if the "experience" was enjoyable. But, with no upbeat atmosphere, no cultural vibe, disgusting and unhealthy smoking going on, the presence of dogs, a dirty and dusty backroom, sticky tables, this place was a turnoff.
The previous business, known as Vin's, was far superior. Always pristine and clean, always an appealing atmosphere. The weekends always had people sitting at the outdoor tables seemingly having a good time.
Yes, the times are tough for restaurants. So, the venues must offer something for their patrons to come back for. In the case of Fusion, the owners missed their chance. It could have been a whole lot better.
The place was lively and loud, especially for a Sunday night. The service was friendly, but they weren't very attentive. I ordered the special chicken gyro. It had a lot of chicken but not much less. They forgot the tzatziki sauce. When I asked for it, it arrived watery and not much flavor. Fries and beer were good
The atmosphere here is dive bar. They do serve beer and wine only.
The service here is great and the bar tender was very good with recommendations for beer that they may not have.
They have a food special of cheese board and at $12 it was great.
I do recommend this spot for a quick stop if you only want to drink beer or wine with a small sample food.

Hidden gem for sure. I can't say who the secret chef is (because we recognize the flavors and near-identical tastes), but the menu is split with another local favorite - fusion... so the mix of items is vast. Generally something for everyone, so no one will be left undecided. It was quiet and empty when we dined, but definitely a worthwhile stop.

Great food and good service. Friendly people everywhere with great music. Had Mediterranean platter chicken combo meal and some mojitos. The music was good but too loud and didn’t like the fact that they charged extra when paying by credit card. This is a big no for me.

Stopped in for a bite to eat, 2 man band was playing, they were decent but too loud for the venue in my opinion. The bartender was our sever, took order, and gave him so information, and he made a very appealing cocktail with gin. I did like the fact the menu let you know how many orders were left and what was sold out. Ordered the 3 bulgogi beef sliders, onion rings, and the California salad with the bulgogi beef. The salad could have had slightly more bulgogi beef and I liked the extra dressing. The sliders were so fresh and cooked to perfection the juices ran out onto my hand and other sliders, extra napkins were given and needed.

I ordered the salmon and it was okay. Little overcooked and too much glaze but the real let down was the canned asparagus that came with it. Not a fan. My partner ordered the bulgogi fries and said they were decent. I think this place does bar food better than their entrees.

I had a friend visiting and we were looking for a nice place to go for happy hour. Selena was the bartender and she had the worst attitude and customer service I’ve ever experienced. We didn’t stay and I will not be back.

Waited at least 10 minutes before being greeted while sitting at the bar for fast service. Friendly staff. I got the bulgogi fries dish and it had a long strand wrapped in it. Full stop.
