I'm from Alabama and as soon as I walked in I felt right at home. The options on the menu are limitless. I had the sunrise breakfast with 2 eggs, sausage and pancakes. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and didn't even need syrup. Such a wonderful experience will be back.
This is a very traditional family home style diner. I love the old newspaper type tablecloths and the wind chimes above (which are for sale if you want ibe, so clever)! Such charm! It's also nice that they put a sign with your waitress' name at your table, just adds to the homey experience. The omelet selection is HUGE, and you can create your own as well with any listed ingredients. One of the best things on the menu is the Mess, which is as big as 2 omelets together...
Story time: on my way home from the doctor, I stopped for breakfast at IHOP, then I was like nah lemme support a local business…
