The egg bites are from Costco (which is generally fine) but they also served us a completely frozen Açaí bowl which was inedible (for $11). My fault for not complaining in the moment, sure, but their fault for the situation in the first place.

I have loved coming here for my morning coffee before work, as I live nearby. The line is never too long, the drinks are tasty and the vibe is always calm. There have been a few disappointments along the way during the last few months. Usually no big deal, like forgetting to provide a pastry or once loosing my order all together (until I asked after waiting 15 min).
More frequently, I notice the ordering experience can feel impersonal. Staff often don’t repeat the order or say the total, which has left me unsure a couple of times about when to pay. Even a brief confirmation or a “thank you” would go a long way toward making the experience feel more welcoming.
The main reason I’m writing this review, though, is a more serious concern about the cleanliness behind the counter. Earlier this week I came in really excited to order a matcha drink—I had actually been looking forward to it before I even walked in. But when I got to the counter and saw the matcha setup just behind the cashier, it looked pretty messy and it honestly turned me off from ordering it. I even briefly considered walking out.
I then looked over toward the espresso station hoping it might look cleaner, but there were coffee grounds scattered around and equipment just sitting out on the counter. It didn’t give the impression of a clean workspace, which was surprising and very disappointing. I still ended up ordering a latte and a pastry (I do really appreciate their pastry selection… it’s usually really good), but the overall impression stuck with me.
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback because I want small businesses in my neighborhood to thrive, and I do hope to come back. I’ve been frequenting this shop on and off for the last several months since they opened, so I wanted to give an honest reflection of what I’ve observed. Cleanliness behind the counter and a more welcoming ordering experience would make a big difference.

I love this place! Such an underrated coffee spot in North County, and all their drinks are so well prepared. You can tell they use high quality espresso beans, and I always want more after my first cup.
They held their Valentine’s Day event here and so many fun vendors and live music. If I lived closer, it would definitely be my go-to spot every morning.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! Their espresso is rich and flavorful, and the baristas are always so friendly and quick, even during the morning rush. I tried cinnamon sugar latte today, and it was perfectly balanced. The cozy seating and great ambience make it the ideal spot to work or meet friends. The freshly baked croissants are a must-try—flaky and delicious! A true neighborhood gem. 5 stars!

Absolutely love this place! The staff, the pasties, the coffee—10/10. They have the best play lists where I didn’t need to put in headphones while I worked. Many people gather here socially so if you’re looking for library vibes- this ain’t it—in the best way possible. Outlets are strategically placed so keep your eye out if you need a charge. I had a dirt chai iced latte and the apple pie puff pastry. Decor is a vibe. As they grow I pray that they stay open past 2 pm because I’d come here all the time!
