Love love love this place! I love pretty much anything that I try here! My go to is the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband loves the shrimp po boy~ The burgers are awesome and we've tried some burgers and sandwiches also and are never disappointed. I love that all is made in house daily! The bathroom could use a little tlc and I wish they were open on Sundays and Mondays ~ other than that a full 5 stars for me.
Everything was amazing. They should sell their Carolina BBQ sauce! brisket melted in your mouth. Burger was perfectly cooked, pulled pork was tender and juicy, Mac and cheese was decadent.

Came with a group of 6 on a Friday at 5, and had no problem finding a table ( but it did get busy by 6 pm). Ordered the Cuban torta, and it was very good! And huge portion. Everyone else enjoyed their sandwiches as well. You order at the front and then find a table

This was our first time here and I would not hesitate to stop by again when I’m in town next. Food was good. I had the Parmesan crusted roast sandwich and other people in our party ordered salad, wrap, and brisket sandwich. everyone enjoyed their food. Service was great. Blonde lady with tattoos was very kind and helpful while taking our order and throughout the night checked in on us multiple times.

Please be careful what you order, their brisket or BBQ, or both, are marinated or cooked in something that eliminates the gluten free option. We are not sure which entree was the culprit, please double check how the meat is cooked when you order.
Besides our GF reaction, go with the St. Louis BBQ sauce, their house sauce is bland. Adding brisket to the salad was a good option, but the brisket was cold, so it did not add to the greens.
We absolutely enjoyed the cole slaw, perfectly flavored and just wet enough. We were split with the BBQ, it was average, nothing memorable, just filling.

Food was cold a horrible spent over 100$ there brisket was super dry my burger was cold and not cooked all the way but the buns were fire and service was good disappointed in price and food quality 😞

Absolutely worthy of the 5 stars. Food: The food is fresh, filling and so flavorful. The Cuban Torta is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Tons of meat but not simply meat, the flavors and textures work really well together. Service: The staff that took orders was friendly and helpful. When I ordered a beer, she offered a taster. An extra sip of beer for free, even after I had made up my mind? I’ll take it. Once seated, the staff offered cucumbers and tomatoes to my 10 month old. They were engaging in conversation with others in my party, truly exceptional staff going above and beyond. Atmosphere: fantastic warm and vintagey decor, excellent music (classic rock) at a reasonable volume. It doesn’t get much better in Escondido. This is definitely worth a trip if you’re considering it but be warned, you may end up becoming a regular.

Food was excellent. And portion size was very good. We had mac & cheese, the brisket salad, brisket sandwich and several sides. The hush puppies were the best I ever had. Service was super. The staff anticipated our needs. We never had to find someone to help. Dessert was delicious. We got the beignets and took an order to go. Yum!
