I was wanting to find a place to eat as we were passing by Escondido on the way home, and H Brothers looked interesting. O wanted something local and comfortable and I’m so glad we stopped in. The two servers we met were both professional and very friendly. The menu is full of “comfort foods” but with twists to make them more modern and interesting. The food was delicious and served piping hot like I like it, and our servings were really large. The whole experience was great and I look forward to our next visit.

First time visiting H Brothers in Esco and I was really impressed! I immediately noticed there was no garage door here, unlike many other Grand Avenue establishments. I actually appreciated that because I’m a fan of good air conditioning. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and has a nice vibe. Service was welcoming and friendly. I arrived around 3:00 in the afternoon, just in time for Happy Hour. They feature a creative selection of loaded fries type fare at a roughly 30% discount off the regular menu price. I ordered the “Adobada Fries” and it was outstanding! Made with fresh cut fries that were hot and fairly crispy, a generous heaping of savory adobada, a cheese bechamel sauce, pickled jalaps, maters and a nice blob of cool sour cream on top. It came with two tasty dipping sauces on the side but that turned out to be unnecessary. There was nothing plain about these fries and the whole thing was nicely composed, hearty and delicious. I loved their thoughtful selection of craft beers on tap, enjoying a nice Harland IPA and Mango Hefeweizen. I look forward to visiting again soon to try their house mac & cheese.

This restaurant is amazing. Great food. Huge portions and kind service. I recommend looking at the menu beforehand and when you get there.

Staff was attentive and they even asked if I wanted to have the beignets to come out later to keep the warm.

It was mainly table and chair seating if I recall. Self serve drinks may not have been the most ADA friendly but staff were nearby to help patrons.

The bathrooms are in the back. There are two. You have walk through a storage like area which isn't bad and bathrooms are not gendered which was comforting to me.

I live far from here but was in town for a concert, but this may become my new pitstop place on my way to and fro San Diego.

Nice place in my hood Escondido been dying to try it and glad I did. Roast beef melt had a very yummy Parmesan crusted bread. The roast beef was flavorful and the hint of green chili was so good wish that flavor was a bit more prevalent but would still gladly order again. Although there are so many other menu items I'm dying to try so a repeat is probably not in the cards anytime soon. The staff was great food came out quickly and I enjoyed the atmosphere nice modern Woody's feel more seats than I was expecting based on the location. Will definitely be back.

We flew in from TN this afternoon. Never been to the area, so we looked up some food options. The pics led us here, and we're so glad they did! Not only is the food genuinely phenomenal, it tastes clean. The beer is great and the service, even better. A huge thanks to Angela for being so kind and inviting. She's loved on our baby and has taken great care of us. We truly appreciated it. The crew you have matters, and they can make the whole experience even better. Whoever owns this place, treat ya girl good. She's a hard worker & keeper! Great food, great atmosphere, great people! Worth the stop! 🤘 (The avocado burger is 🤌🍔)
First stop on our trip has set such a great tone! Thanks, guys!

I need you to know that the cuban torta at this restaurant with the house made dark hot sauce is an absolute feat of culinary science. Absolutely unbelievable. I am stuffed and incredibly satisfied. Go here and please eat one. It's exceptional.

Great Special of the Day “California Chicken Sandwich” and we had onion rings as our side. It was enough to share. Great beer choices on tap and even a local cider choice too. Staff were very friendly. Order at the counter type of place.

We just ate there and the food was good! Loved the burgers. You have to order at the counter and then they bring it to you. Not a full bar. Beer & wine. Plenty of seating.

This me u is varied in the best way, selectively. Shrimp Po boy and poutine? Yep. Great onion rings. And the cheese steak is great too. Staff is chill, and helpful, dialed.
