I've been eating at Joe's for about 20 years, and I still love his food. I was there 2 weeks ago and the food was outstanding. I usually order the Eggplant Parmigiana and it was even better than the last time. I'm grateful that he has his restaurant and offers us great food to eat. Thank you Joe!
Joe's is one of our favorite restaurants in all of San Diego Co. We have been coming here for years and feel like family when we visit. Truly a warm and welcoming experience every time we go. Highly recommend all the selections.

Based on the reviews, Joe's Italian Cuisine is a gem in Escondito with a fun, cozy, calm, and nice atmosphere. The restaurant has been a spot for at least 20 years, and for 47 years overall. The food is great, fresh, and outstanding, made to order. The service is excellent and great, and the family is super friendly. Specific meals include the soup, bread with oil and vinegar, chicken parm, house red wine, and seriously awesome tiramisu. The stuffed mushrooms appetizer is highly recommended, along with the Eggplant Parmigiana, gnocchi romano, and meat tortellini romano. The pasta is tasty and the sauce is delicious. The restaurant is family owned and will continue to run. Joe passed away on Easter Sunday, and they held a celebration of life for him. They will reopen on May 5th.
