It is very pleasant to sit outside on Grand Avenue and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee this is a cute little place that serves a variety of food options and hot drinks, and some cold beverage options. It is accessible inconvenient. Depending on time of day parking can be tricky I parked in the parking lot behind off of the alley. We had hot tea and it was piping hot and delicious in a big cup.

Kettle On Grand surpasses expectation with its warmth. The bare brick walls, the open-glass front, and the kind-hearted staff invites you to stay, to simply enjoy. With a tasty latte in-hand, I took a moment to catch up on some necessary reading. Also, my mother joined me for a delightful visit. The open-glass front filled the room with light, making for a pleasant place to read. They offer both indoor and sidewalk seating. Kettle On Grand is an excellent place to enjoy a moment.

This place is absolutely nom noms. First off, they know how to make a perfectly balanced latte for both iced and hot drinks. The care and quality that goes into their craft is definitely worth it! The staff is super friendly, fun, and inviting. It keeps me coming back for more! They have a great variety and revolving door of different coffee selections to choose from. As for food my personal recommendation is the breakfast Pablo or the California club. Both are excellent choices!

AMAZING COFFEE SHOP. I love that the baristas love their craft and they take the time to give Knowledge on the beans they use. You’re definitely leave with a good quality coffee that’ll start your day. Great little afternoon study spot. They always have some great limited coffee drinks. My favorite is the churro chai or strawberry matcha. The baristas are friendly and all amazing. I recommend this shop to all the parents of the students I teach. I’m hoping one day they’ll extend their hours for my coffee addiction.

Super duper bummed! I went there for the first time and I had the best Pumpkin Pie Latte ever!!! But when I went the next day it tasted different. Then I went again on another and it tasted different than the other two times. I wish their recipes were consistent. I haven't had that latte taste the same since and I keep trying to alter it by asking them for more pumpkin or less milk or more ice. It's just not the same as the first time.
I had a large order because of meeting with family. I wonder if the register worker was new, because there were a few errors with my order. Ordered the 2 slice serving of avocado toast with egg (delicious!) Received 2 servings of the double sliced meal. Ordered one black coffee and one with cream, they were both with cream. Good coffee! Ordered a hot chocolate with ice and a mocha coffee, the coffee wasn't prepared. Now despite all that the errors were corrected quickly. The servers were polite and receptive. The facility was nice, plenty of room (sat inside), not too loud. Overall it was still a good experience. If we lived in the area, I would definitely give them another try.

Good ambience and location. However, the value / quality is just not there. We paid nearly $16 (before tip) for two very basic coffees. One drink was good: however the other tasted watered down and flavor was very muted. I’d recommend trying some of the other coffee shops in downtown Escondido.
