The food was very good. My first time here, but it's one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. Service was good and staff was friendly and helpful. Will come back.

I found a piece of metal in my soup of menudo and that leaves a lot to think hygienically, I imagine that if someone swallows it he goes directly to the hospital and to surgery, this is unfortunate, I hope you take this case into consideration, for future visits to this place.

The food is fabulous,seasoning perfect and the menu offers a wide range of choices. It is also easy to find in Escondido.

The service was slow & we had to flag our server down for assistance. However, the server was pleasant and filled our requests in a timely matter. The food was really good, as were the chips & salsa. The margaritas were a bit sweet, so we'll try a different flavor in the future.

This place is a joke! They charged me 33 dollars for two breakfast burritos.

Decided to give it a second chance since the first time we went we had horrible service but this time as soon as we walked in the host had an attitude. Said nvm and walked out. The host is the first impression of the restaurant. Definitely skip and go somewhere else.

This is a good place to enjoy some Mexican food, and seafood. I visit the restaurant during lunch time and they have their own lunch specials. You can create your own combo for less than 20 dollars. I honestly got more food or what I expected.

Looking at the reviews, this place was on my list to visit. LOVED it!!! Service was outstanding, food was very good, but the ambiance was awesome! Very clean, beautifully decorated, with a warm, welcoming vibe.
ADDED BONUS: Peterson's Donut Corner! We spent a bunch $ and this morning, coffee & donuts were HEAVENLY!!!

Food was good but OH MY GOD IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE. I came in last night with my buddy to pick up food for us and his GF, I ordered a simple bean and cheese burrito with eggs and potatoes in it with a quesadilla. She ordered a side of rice and small tacos and he ordered a basic burrito. 66 DOLLARS!!! No way that is $22 per person. I understand my side being expensive because of 2 dishes but at that price the food needs to be a vaccine. I would also like to add that the food was good but not prepared right, the burritos were made with the solids in the middle and the beans/ cream on top surrounding which is a recipe for disaster. The burrito also wasn’t wrapped right and was too overloaded with beans and cream so it often came undone or spilled out. The only positive I’m giving is that the food actually had good taste.

Very disappointing and underwhelming from the food to the weirdly passive-aggressive server who refused to speak to me in English because of her assumption that I could speak Spanish. extremely hot No AC!! I was sweating through the entire meal I have no idea how this place has a close to 5-star rating I expected way more. may I suggest Paisa Mex? Way better food, service and just all around atmosphere plus the servers aren’t weird if you can’t speak Spanish this was my first and my last visit I’ll skip on the bland food!
